    So I wasn't aware these were still going on, but apparently tournaments for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be ending on September 30th. You'll still be able to hold your own tournaments, but regular tourneys will be ending after this date.

    It seems they're starting to close everything for the NX release. I really hope they don't close the online servers though, games like Splatoon would be completely dead and pointless to own.

    That's stupid - I can't play customs with other random players anymore. =/

    While the mode was never that great to begin with it sucks that Nintendo will be closing down a mode in one of there best Wii U games.It makes an NX version of the game even more likely.
