Captain Kiawe

Captain Kiawe is the 2nd captain of Akala island and he also one of Ash's classmates in the anime. His trial was one of the better ones and his character is pretty good in the anime and the games unlike some others. It does kind of suck that he can only be battled at night in Sun though outside of the Battle Tree.

He had the best trial, it was simple tricky in a sense of trying to factor in if they were trying to trick you or not, and his reactions definitely helped make it so.

I loved his dance trials, it was hilarious when the Hiker Pokemon trainer showed up in the later part of the dances, I thought it was great. Captain Kiawe comes off as the 'cool kid' trope type in the game & anime so I thought it was interesting that he seemed to have a sense of humor too.
