Fire Emblem Warriors

It looks like the rumors where true about Fire Emblem Warriors.



It looks like a Warriors version of Marth was shown. I'm also going to predict that only characters from Fates, Awakening and Radiant Dawn will be used until DLC comes into play.

i really don't see the appeal of musuo games, they're fun for about an hour before you realise that they are all kinda the same but with a different skin

but i guess this is good for people who enjoy these kind of games

AH yes, I do somewhat agree with Polar in that they can be repetitive, but with Hyrule Warriors I felt like the character theme brought so much to the game and its formula that it made it that much more enjoyable. I LOVE Fire Emblem so I definitely think the same could happen here. I'm excited!

I have yet to play Hyrule Warriors, or any Dynasty Warriors for that mattter, but I'm interested enough in this one to see how it'll end up being, probably close to the same as those.

Fire Emblem Warriors will also be coming to the New 3DS and both versions will release this Fall.



I have to say it kind of sucks it's coming to the 3DS since, it likely means less content and less character and it gives Fire Emblem one less reason to get a Switch.

Not gonna lie, they could've just shown this on FE direct and not the Switch presentation and it would've made no difference.

^ Yeah I agree, they literally only showed the title in the Switch presentation. The fact that another Switch Fire Emblem title was confirmed in this Direct that WASN'T in the Switch presentation shows that it really was totally pointless too. So I don't really know what's up with that.

Either way it's nice to get even that slight bit of footage. I should have a Switch by the time it releases so I'll definitely be getting that version but I think it's awesome that it's also coming to New 3DS.

Funny how I haven't really had a good think on FE:W since the FE direct

I'd like to think given the diversity of weaponry in FE that we'd get something more akin to the multiple styles of weapons like in vanilla DW rather than sword lords x infinity

Mounted cavalry are straightforward enough, but I wonder how fliers would end up working (if they were implemented)

I definitely expected there to be original characters, and honestly it almost makes it feel more like Fire Emblem in that sense, given that most characters don't reappear in subsequent entries. I'm still very excited for this game and I can't wait to find out more (hopefully) at E3.

It seems like there will also be 2 new characters based on the scans and called it months ago that the game would only pull from Shadow Dragon, Fates and Awakening outside of DLC.

I wonder what percentage of 'mainly from SD/Awakening/Fates' implies

Implying cavalry and flier units is reassuring though

Looking forward to hearing how wep triangle factors into all this

Kinda glad that Rian/Leanne doesn't have an obnoxiously high voice (but I guess being the older sister that's expected)
Marth actually sounds a bit older than his previous work? (I haven't listened to JP Fates Marth lines)

I'm really liking how the game is sort of taking the cell shaded art style from the cutscenes in Awakening and Fates, I really love that style and I'm sure it'll look beautiful in HD. (and I guess the same as it did before on 3DS? Not really sure how that version's gonna turn out lol)

Likely just the OC characters made for Warriors. The characters are looking really good and makes me wander how good they will look in Fire Emblem Switch.
