Pokemon Sun and Moon sell over 14 million units in 2016/ now up to 15.44 units

It seems like Pokemon Go and the XYZ anime really helped Sun and Moon have great sales. 

Nintendo wrote:During the nine months ended December 31, 2016, the worldwide release of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon generated buzz and led to blockbuster sales of 14.69 million units.

It's crazy how Sun and Moon already sold that much in a little over a month. Due to Pokemon being an evergreen title we could be looking at 16 million units by the end of the next report.

What's even crazier is that this was in LESS THAN TWO MONTHS. Pokemon X/Y are on the same platform, and sold 16 million units in THREE YEARS. Sun/Moon will definitely go on to become the best selling Pokemon titles on 3DS, and obviously that will make them the best selling 3DS titles in general. It's so crazy how successful Pokemon has been on 3DS. X/Y have already sold more than Black/White did on the best selling console of all time, and this is almost certainly going to surpass those sales.

Sales are now up to 15.44 million.
