Queen's random blogness: the return 2017

Always nice to go back and look at how a game used to look and her story could always be saved for a backstory in a sequel.

I've been joking for years that I'll be playing Pokemon up until Pokemon Galaxy, so if it gets announced tomorrow.. I'm going to laugh my a** off. :p

They would likely call the next game Eclipse. Pokemon Galaxy sounds like a game where you could travel to each region.

Honestly I'd love to have a game where I could travel to all of the regions. Gamefreak did it before, where you traveled from one region to another I don't see why we can't get them all is how I feel, though that kind of game would probably work better on the Switch then the 3DS since the game would be so huge.

Anywho.. Jing's got all of E3 week off, so we get to enjoy it together. We've got a week full up, starting Saturday. My parents need Jing to help put together a mower they bought & on Sunday his dad needs help putting in an air conditioner.

It's a good thing EA starts everything off since we've gotta get groceries on Saturday & the time they start is 3pm est, which is when we're usually out & about getting groceries around this time.

I hope putting together the mower and the AC goes while. Your likely not missing much by not being able to see the EA unless you enjoy there sports or Star Wars games.

Well so far this E3 the only conference's that have impressed me were M$'s, the PC Gaming show, & Ubisoft. Sony had nothing much to show but DLC for a game I don't own yet (Horizon Zero Dawn), & a new trailer for a Monster Hunter game that looked mildly interesting. But omg, Sony's conference had hardly any sound at the start & was just a snore fest through out. -_-" When the frack did the scrip flip & M$ start having the more decent E3? I guess, this year would be the scrip flip I suppose. XD

Up next comes Nintendo & then Squarenix who I plan to watch since I'm a huge SE fan & enjoy their Dragon Quest games as well as the Bravely Default series, among other titles they're known for. :3

Ubisoft had the best press conference is what most are saying online and Sony where should have just saved a few games last year and showed them at there E3 this year.

Yea, it was pretty good. :3 Though, tbh: Nintendo kind of blew me out of the water. I went in way under hyped, it's only when they showed Xenoblade Chronicles 2 that my hype lvl kind of went through the roof. More so the moment that I saw the red/green cross symbol from Xenogears/Xenosaga, I friggen flipped out. Holy crap! GIMME NOA. o.o I also couldn't believe that a REAL HONEST TO GOODNESS METROID PRIME 4 title is in development. I was so stunned I couldn't believe it. I had to ask Jing TWICE if what we were seeing was real. And yes, it's real. Metroid 4 CONFIRMED. I am so beyond hyped!!

THEN they showed more Super Mario Odyssey & I was sold. I really want to play it when I get a Switch next year. (If I can find one to get by then. LOL) During the Treehouse Live event they then showed Metorid: Samus Returns for the 3DS coming out in either September or November (I can't recall atmo & am too lazy to google search for it. XD) Which really made my day, I friggen love the Metorid series. Can't wait to play all of the games, that I mentioned. ^^ Here's to 2018!

I could be hype for the Pokemon RPG game releasing to the Switch but for all I know it could be Pokemon Stars, Pokemon Z, or Pokemon Galaxy & if it's something like the main Pokemon series I'm interested. Same if it looks something like how Pokemon XD played too. :3 ~I kind of need more info before I can become more hyped thou. XD

Squeenix was kind of a bust this year, but at least I saw a KH3 trailer along with the reveal of the new Life Is Strange: Before the Storm announcement which seeing both trailers really made my day too.

Wow, it's kind of been a weird year.. Since Nintendo actually had a DECENT showing of games. When the f*ck did the world turn upside down? XD

As confrences go, the one's I enjoyed were: M$, the PC Gaming show, Ubisoft, & Nintendo. As they showed way more content that I personally am interested in then they usually tend to. I sort of feel like Sony pulled E3 2016 pt2, just for 2017 & let everyone have the better E3. It's just WEIRD. Same for SqueeEnix. I mean yea, I got Life iS Strange: Before the Storm happening, along with a trailer for KH3. But nothing else interests me. Even Lost Sphere doesn't interest me as I feel that it's just Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (for the Gamecube) just with a different coat of paint, is all. xp

As they say not every year can be a home run. As for Square Enix they really should have saved Kingdom Hearts for E3.

What's weird is that even though I played a little bit of Ever Oasis via the demo that's available for download, I feel like I've PLAYED this game before. D: Ugh, I wish I could remember what game that it reminds me of... -_-

For me the game was a mix between Secret of Mana and the Legend of Legacy.

I think that for me, personally it felt more like a mix between Final Fantasy IX, & Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles tbh. XD [/moving on]

As of today, I'm never going to a Gamestop that used to be my favorite one EVER again. I went there yesterday to pick up my reserve copy of Ever Oasis, along with a $20 steam gift card. I had to use the facilities & after I was done I washed my hands & came out to try to get something to drink from the water fountain. I go to bend down to take a sip & because the water stream is so low, I hit my head on a low hanging display hook & hit my head. It hurt like a sum-a-bych! >.< I tried to bring it up to the person ringing me out, but he ignored me & rushed me out the door. I filled out a feedback thing from Gamestop, since I really did not appreciate getting ignored like that. I've been a loyal customer going to that particular store for a very long time. In all honesty, I'm not a very big fan of Gamestop, but I will admit to going there to reserve games I feel that I may not be able to get in the usual store I go to for games otherwise. I still don't like being ignored the way I feel I was. If I would have had the presence of mind I should have called in the police on it after I was outright ignored & started a suit against the company. I'm sure some teen who has a parent with a ton of money will go in, try to get something to drink & get beaned on the head trying to drink from their fountain & their parents will take that particular Gamestop to court over it.
