Fairy's Drawings.

So I've been wanting to share some of my humble drawings with TNFS for awhile. I'm very much lacking but that's okay. I wish to improve, criticism is welcome. I just have some pencil stuff for now until I get into digital.

The first one is a weird one. Featuring my OC.

The second is an old one from last year dating November 5th I believe. Simple fanart of Flavio and Goompa if you can call it that. I was digging through the old sketchbook.

Those drawings look nice and it's nice how you did a drawing of 2 fan favorite NPC characters.

I loveee them. I will say if there's any criticism to give it would be on the second drawing, where the characters look kinda weirdly elongated.

I'm kind of confused as to why your OC is in an pudding cup thing but I like it. XD

Thank you. Is Goompa popular? I never really noticed much popularity with Goompa but that'd be great. I really like him and Flavio, the temporary party members.

Glad you love them, Zero. Hm, yeah. I think I should adjust the dimensions, I reduced the height and width because the scans are so massive. It makes them look more stretched than they are I think. There was also the problem where they were drawn around the top of the paper so the fluffy part of Flavio's hat is cut off.

Yeah, I understand the confusion haha. I was planning on remaking it in color in the future and make it some sort of official artwork thing for the game. I really liked the idea, I tried my best best to get it to look right. I find it funny when I look at it sometimes.

I've already mentioned this to you before but I really like both of them (particularly Flavio and Goompa, they seem to capture the PM spirit of their designs quite a bit)

Ah, that makes me quite happy to hear again. I was surprised how the Flavio and Goompa from last year turned out. Glad to hear it seems to capture the spirit.

No progress for awhile now. Nothing after the dress redesign, I still have yet to draw her in it. I have two other drawings I'd like to work on first.

If you do get into digital one day, then I'll look forward to seeing what you can do - but, it's probably best to just take it one step at a time  .

Thank you! Glad to see you find them cute. Especially if it's the pudding one in particular.

Yeah I still plan on getting into it. I've only experimented coloring with a mouse last month sometime before I made this topic. Not very good. I'll still have to wait but that's all fine. You're right, best to take the steps one at a time.

I know Fairy's looking into getting a drawing tablet somewhere down the line, and given how finicky mouse arting is, probably best to keep the lineart traditional for now I guess

Yeah, sticking to traditional. I may be able to finally get one on the 1st next month.
