I won't get it since I did not like using the Wii Wheel in Mario Kart Wii and the Wii remote controls the same as the Wii Wheel.

Re: Mario Kart 8
I'll probably end up using the pro controller, because in Wii I stuck to the Wii Remote and Nunchuck combo, but it's nice to see that there's always the multiple play styles.

Here are pictures of the layouts of Sweet Sweet Canyon, Mario Circuit, and Thwomp Ruins.
They look good and Mario Circuit looks way better then it did at E3.

It does? Honestly I noticed no difference in the Mario Circuit from E3 and the one just shown. What's different about them?

Same here... It looks bland with the Bird's Eye view but I'm pretty sure it won't be, it just looks it. Also, it's nice to see that they've spiced up the graphics in Thwomp Ruins!

Re: Mario Kart 8
So what retro tracks does everybody want to see in Mario Kart 8? Personally I wish they weren't there to begin with and that every track was new, but I know they are. So I'd like to see Figure-8 Circuit due to this being Mario Kart 8, Royal Circuit, Dino Jungle (or whatever that course was called with the giant dinosaurs in Double Dash), Maple Treeway would be nice in HD as well. Oh, and Waluigi Pinball has to be in this, or at least a brand new track that does even more with the idea.

Re: Mario Kart 8
Here's a look at Toad Harbor.
It sucks that this course is in the Flower cup but, I think we may get the name of the Boo House course in a few days.
Dino Dino Jungle, Waluigi Pinball and Maple Treeway were used in 7 though.
I think there will be 4 3DS and Wii Retro tracks, 2 DS, N64, and GCN Retro tracks and just one SNES and GBA retro track.
Here's the Retro tracks that are known
GBA Mario Circuit
GCN Dry Dry Desert
DS Tick-Tock Clock
Wii Grumble Volcano
3DS Music Park
3DS Piranha Plant Slide
3DS DK Jungle
Ones that could return
3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon
SNES Mario Circuit 4
GCN Mushroom City
DS Figure-8 Circuit
N64 Rainbow Road
N64 Yoshi Valley
Wii Moo Moo Meadows
Wii DK Summit
Wii Bowser's Castle

Re: Mario Kart 8
It looks like it's from a storybook...
Why is there like a giant Rosalina in the background?

Re: Mario Kart 8
^ I think that's the Statue of Liberty, but it's Princess Peach, not Rosalina. All of these tracks have so many extra details, there's so much going on. It's like they're real places.

Re: Mario Kart 8
The Boo house is now Twisted Mansion.
It looks the same and I think Luigi's or King Boo's Twisted Mansion would have been a better name.

Strange name...
But names don't matter that much.

Re: Mario Kart 8
It should've been King Boo's Twisted Mansion, if he's playable in this like he was in the Wii version. (and the 3DS version? I don't know...)
But that course looked fun at E3, I really hope they don't reveal a ton of courses before the game's release, as I don't want to start playing and know what every single course looks like.

King Boo was not in Mario Kart 7 Zero.

Re: Mario Kart 8
Here's Cloudtop Cruise.
This might be the track I like the most right now and it looks like it might be in the star cup.
Here's what tracks I think might be in each cup.
Mushroom Cup
Mario Circuit
Dolphin Shoals
Twisted Mansion
Thwomp Ruins
Flower Cup
Toad Harbor
Sweet Sweet Canyon
Shy Guy Falls
Bone Dry Dunes
Star Cup
Sunshine Airport
Koopaling City
Water Park course
Cloudtop Cruise
Special Cup
A DK track
An Ice track
Bowser's Castle
Rainbow Road
