I also really like Sunshine Airport. I do wander if this might hint at Toadsworth joining the race since Sunshine was the first game he showed up in. Of course it could always be Bowser Jr's course.

Toadsworth would be an awesome character but they never choose good characters in Mario Kart. (although the Koopalings were cool and since there aren't many good Mario characters I don't blame them)

And Sunshine Airport will likely be one of my favorite courses in the game. At least from the new courses at any rate, hopefully there will be some good retro tracks as well.

At least the Koopalings being a joker card makes sense and I would like buy a bundle with the Mario and Rosalina cards if they did something like that over the Blue Shell toy.

That's cool, but it'd make more sense if they just had a different character on each different kind of card instead of having different sets with the different characters.

Also, does anyone think there will be DLC cups for Mario Kart 8 available in the future? I think they could have a couple of cups available for download, or even just a few tracks, just because 32 tracks isn't much content. Although I'd prefer to just have more cups in the game to start with.

So apparently Mario Kart 8 could feature a 4-player Grand Prix mode, according to a message on Twitter from Manealeau. It's just a rumor but I think it could be true:

So apparently Mario Kart 8 on Wii U is playable with up to 4 players in the grand prix mode. These are very good news!

A 4-Player Grand Prix mode would be awesome, although I'm not sure how it'll work. Maybe it'd have something to do with teams?

Perhaps it is, but I have no idea since it is only March 31st. (could be April 1st in the person who posted that's area?) I honestly don't know who the person is who posted that, but he did seem to know more info on the game looking at the other messages on his Twitter.

Here's the video preview from GameXplain. They shown 1 new tracks so you might not want to watch the video and here's a new trailer.

Shy Guy, Metal Mario and Lakitu return and some returning courses are Toad's Turnpike, Royal Raceway, Moo Moo Meadows and N64 Rainbow Road. Lastly the new items. Also here some gameplay of Toad's Turnpike, N64 Rainbow Road and a look at the 16 tracks that were playable.
