Iwata promises ten in- house developed 3DS titles for comeing year

According to a report by Nikkei, Satoru Iwata promised that ten in-house developed titles will be released for the Nintendo 3DS in the next year. Further details are currently unknown.

A new Mario and Luigi game and Kirby game are at the top of my list.

I definitely agree with you on those. This interests me...I wonder if any new types of games will release on 3DS.

As much as I love the 3DS, it needs this so badly.

I think that many of these are titles like Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and Fire Emblem. So really only 2 or 3 ones that haven't already been announced. (Not that I'm not excited by the announced games.)

Well, I know I'm personally am not too fussed about Fire Emblem or Luigi's Mansion.

I am a bit for Animal Crossing: New Leaf... I guess you can cross that one off the list too...

I would not count Fire Emblem or Luigi's Mansion because Nintendo is likely talking about games after March.

This is my prediction for some of the 10 games.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Pokemon X and Y
New Mario sports game or Mario and Luigi RPG 4
New Kirby game or New Metroid game
New eShop games

I actually don't think there will be a new Metroid game. At least not for 3DS anyway. Perhaps a new F-Zero or Donkey Kong instead.

EShop titles... I never considered them... although I've get to see a VC one made by Nintendo themselves that are that... exciting or memorable...
