Pokemon: Extremespeed Genesect and Mewtwo's Awakening

Hot Diggity Damn this movie keeps on getting better.

Upon recent news of Ninfia, something that went unmentioned here on the site (yet to me is more exciting that Ninfia in so many ways) is that recently this movie was renamed"Extremespeed Genesect and Mewtwo's Awakening" adding the legendary Pokemon Mewtwo into the title.



Overall this movie looks like it's going to be epic, I missed the Kyurem one sadly (Not sure if it's even shown in the UK yet) but I do own the Victini one, and it was pretty decent to be honest... I think bringing back Mewtwo for this movie could just be the icing on the cake though. Rocket's Creation VS Plasmas? Hell Yeah!



What do you think about this? Interested now Mewtwo has entered the fray? Not too fond of Pokemon Movie? Really excited maybe? Discuss!

Haven't heard of it until now...but it looks promising. I do like Pokémon anime/movies (well sometimes...), so for me, I'll be watching it.

To me the Anime is way different from the Movies... the movies actually have a real plot, the anime seems just like a little thing to watch for fun here and there...

Team Rocket also making a main movie appearance again it seems, about time! This movie looks all kinds of awesome, what a way to end the generation! As soon as Satoshi said "Mewtu"... I was on my knees throwing money at the screen.

A proper cool story featuring one of the best of the best, and fighting on the hero's side too! It don't get better than this!

It's nice seeing Mewtwo and Genesect in the same movie.

I need to catch up on the anime, I mean I could easily just watch this movie without it, but I want to see this movie while knowing what's going on and where they're at.

But the Movies don't follow the anime canon, they just kind of... borrow the characters.

The only one with hard evidence beyond current pokemon caught and current pokemon's evolved forms is Mewtwo Strikes Back, but even then it isn't fully clear.

Well, like I said I can easily watch the movies separately, but it's kind of different watching it in the show because it shows how Ash got the pokemon that he uses in the movies. I don't know, I'm watching the show so I'll eventually get to the movies as well.

I do wonder if this is actually set before or during Episode N. As N and Charizard appear in no parts of the trailers...
