Can't remember if he was in Inside Story, but Fawful has been in all of the Mario and Luigi games. It would make perfect sense for him to be in this one as well, it's just that we've been given more clues he is. Probably isn't a boss though.

And...is Antasma actually the bat? In the Gamexplain video, he said the bat might be a move, because Cackletta had a similar move.

Fawful has been in every one including Inside Story.
Antasma is the bat, apparently he can turn into a bat.

M&L: BIS really gave me the belief that Fawful is now "dead" and won't be coming back. But this is Nintendo; NO ONE EVER DIES, JUST A GAME OVER.

It wouldn't surprise me if Fawful made an appearance here. Maybe even as an optional boss not part of the story?(like the Shroobs in Inside Story)

^ They have had optional bosses in the Mario RPG games, most of them I think. I wouldn't be surprised to see another one...I just don't think it'll be Fawful. It would be cool to fight Fawful again though. :3

    @Luma
Where did you find out that one of her moves is turning into a bat?

Looks like Bowser's just a boss, and won't be a playable character.

I think later in the game Antasma will fuse with Bowser.

Anyway that new Bros attack that they do in that ride looks like the best one so fair.

I wonder if Bowser is a recurring boss. I'm fine with Bowser not being playable though, it was the gameplay mechanic of the other game and it's better for them to have different style mechanics without changing the main style.

Does anyone know if the official name of this is "Mario and Luigi Dream Team Bros."? Because, I thought it was just Dream Team, and didn't have brothers at the end of the name, it sounds better without it anyway.

The name of the game is Mario & Luigi Dream Team in North America, Mario & Luigi Dream Team Bros in Europe and Mario & Luigi RPG 4 Dream Adventure in Japan.

Nintendo of Europe released a new gameplay trailer.

Nothing much but it looks like Bowser will be a regular boss in the game.

I hate to triple post but, some big info came out toady.

Josh Thomas over at the Bit Block conforms that Mario & Luigi Dream team takes about 35 hours to beat.

Dream Team is apparently about 35+ hours. Am I the only one who doesn't like game's to take up THAT much of my time? 10 hours = sweet spot.

Also some major spoilers from the OMN review .

I hate to triple post too, seems nobody cares to discuss anything about those things you mentioned before. XD

Anyway, 35 hours? Cool, PM:TTYD (my favorite Mario RPG) took up about that much time. As long as they don't stop being innovative with it throughout the whole game, I'm glad.

I usually like lengthy RPGs like Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. 35 hours is alright, I will not complete this game as fast, but 10 hours is okay too. I hate it when games take less than 10, especially RPGs.

I am looking forward to this Mario and Luigi installment. Starlow's return surprised me.
