Okay, well I'll try it out when it's available. I'll probably get this eventually but not on launch day.

Re: Bravely Default
Well from what I've seen of the game play for this; it reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy III; except with Sleep Points (SP) which you can use in order to make your characters stronger from what it sounds like. Btw; SPo isn't a new concept from Se; the SP system was used in the Kingdom Hearts series too. In Dream Drop Distance for the 3DS you can use Sleep Points in that too. Same with the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series; if you slept a lot at certain Inns for the GC version you could accumulate SP and use it to help you make better weapons for your character. (Or at least that's how I remember it lol.)

Re: Bravely Default
Well the Sleep Points do seem to be a bit different in this game, being that you instead put your 3DS in Sleep Mode and you can do that in battle as well.

Re: Bravely Default
The Bravely Default demo with exclusive content not included within the actual game is now available on the 3DS eShop! I'm going to download it but not today, when I have the time to just play the entire thing straight through.

I'm downloading the demo now. I likely won't play it until tomorrow though since the eShop will likely take an hour to finish the download.Zero Revolution wrote:The Bravely Default demo with exclusive content not included within the actual game is now available on the 3DS eShop! Yeah, that's the problem, it's a demo, yet it will still take that long to download. :/ Well please tell me how long it takes you to download Gameguy.

Re: Bravely Default
You mean the demo right? The full game isn't avilable in NA yet...
And I have a pretty slow internet connection, so it'll likely take awhile longer than it did for you Queen.

Re: Bravely Default
Eh, it works well enough, so I don't think it's really necessary to purchase one.
Anyway, I'm downloading it right now! Just because we have to wait 2 months longer than those Britains, this excluaive content demo better be lenghty. :p
EDIT: And I thought my internet was slow! It took exactly 16 minutes to download he demo for me, that was pretty quick.

Re: Bravely Default
Here's a trailer setting up the story for you (it's only a minute, not spoiling anything regarding the story, just shows what happens right at the beginning):
So has anyone tried the demo yet?

Re: Bravely Default
Here's a new gameplay trailer:
I already knew about everything in the trailer, but I guess it'd be helpful if you don't know much about the game already.
Anybody planning to get Bravely Default launch day or soon after? I'm not, but I might eventually get it, I'm just not sure though because I know I suck at the classic Final Fantasy titles, and it does seem very similar. So I probably wouldn't be able to play it much without losing characters constantly.
