Splatfest #13

The next Splatfest for NA has been announced to be a sponsored one, Spongebob vs. Patrick! It'll occur next Saturday.

Having a theme based around a kids show would be pretty lame, but the fact that it's both not one that's too recent and a show that I actually really enjoyed is pretty nice.

Get ready for a ton of Squidward Miiverse posts. I guess Team Spongebob will be my pick even though I would go with Mr. Crabs if it was an option.

The theme this time is very surprising. It's fitting, a show about sea creatures for Splatfest. The Squid Sisters even make references to some of the popular quotes from the show. The Miiverse posts I've seen in the plaza are pretty entertaining. I wish Squidward was an option, I would have went with his team, definitely. I think I'll go with Team Patrick, he had some of the most memorable lines from the show.

It seems like team Patrick is more popular in a strange twist of events. I guess his memes beat out Spongebob's.

This Splatfest has quite honestly been the most fun I've had with any of them so far. I don't know why but it just felt so rewarding and fun to play! There was a lot of tension too, it was pretty crazy, although I did play a ton of matches against my own team. (team Patrick) I hope we won.

I was on team Spongebob and I won most of my matches. I just could not go with Patrick after seeing a recent episode and I always enjoyed Spongebob more as a kid.

I was on Team Patrick so yay! I thought for sure we lost though. Not only did I think we were much more popular (I fought against my own team many times, usually I don't more than once or twice) but I also lost like a good 75% of my matches. Usually I do pretty well during Splatfests so I'm not sure if I was just sucking, my team was, or the specific Team Spongebobs I fought were really good compared to most of them.
