Hermes(Cacturne) Grass/Dark Level 39: Faint Attack, Leech Seed, Leaf Blade, Spikes.
Leela(Primeape) Ground/Fighting Level 39: Magnitude, Strength, Seismic Toss, Brick Break.
Bender(Claydol) Ground/Psychic Level 39: AncientPower, Psychic, Sandstorm, Mud-Slap.
Amy(Octillery) Water Level 39: Aurora Beam, Surf, Psybeam, Thunder Wave.
Fry(Arcanine) Fire Level 40: Bite, Flame Wheel, Ember, Will-O-Wisp.
Zoidberg(Jolteon) Electric Level 39: Surf, Spark, Bite, Ember.

I like how they're all Futurama names.

You start in Pallet town, then you go to Cinnibar Oasis, then Fuschia City, etc.... and alot of the routes were redone really well.

So you're actually playing though the game... backwards.

I see now, and I suppose there are different pokemon on the routes too.

Are there much changes to the area's themselves? Like a solid ground path to Cinnabar from Pallet Town?

Yep. That's why it's called Cinnabar Oasis. The route from Lavender to Celadon was made a rainforest, and the Route from Vermillion to the Fishing Bridge was made into a swamp.
