How do you visualize people?

I thought this was something I only did, or people who are particularly visually creative. Turns out, I'm not!

So tell me, when you see users, how do you visualize them?

Zero: I saw him as a mysterious figure before I found out his age, and now I just see him as a more age appropriate mysterious figure.

SZ: A Zwelious with 2 heads, one being the troll head. Yup, pulled it straight out his signature, but it suits him quite nicely.

Fluffy: Anime Tsun Girl, rather small and in posh-ish clothing. Hair like her avatar, only the horns are a part of her, not her costume.

Cubone: Beefed up Cubone Man. This is probably due to me drawing him mostly as a generic beef-cake for Fluffy in that one picture.

Yi: I always pictured him just as a standard Child, could be the way he types and how he talks about homelife a lot... It's almost like I could picture the real him so easily because he's so open.


Sadly that's all the people I've ever considered visualizing, these things come naturally y'know?

Anyway...

I tend to visualize people as their avatars for the most part. For examples, I imagine Cubone as his Cubone avatar, Gameguy as Crystal King, Jester as Haruhi, etc.

Even after people posting pictures of themselves though, I still imagine them as something different, strangely.

Yeah I'm more with Razor, when I see someone's pic is a person or creature that's what I associate with their beings, I know that's not it at all, but that's how I do it.

I tend to try to add personality to their avatar, or something on those lines.

It just makes the vision more... mine, y'know?

So if it's too far off (such as Zero being an anime girl, which is waaaay too far off) I couldn't see them as that to begin with, so my own idea will slowly creep up.

I guess I get what you mean, I tend to still think of their avatar when I'm just thinking of them though.

I could see that pic being zero, to be honest whenever I talk to him he doesn't act too far off of that of any anime girl.

I'm not sure how many females in anime you've watched... but they must be pretty casual if they compare to Zero.

I feel Zero actually acts more of a herrem's main character, maybe he'll look like a nerdy man when he lurks out of his "Mysterious" look.

I don't picture myself as a 'nerdy man'. And it's not really that I think of the member like talking to me looking like their avatar. I just think of the avatar when thinking of the member. If that makes sense.

You're not so much of a nerdy man in personality, more just in visual appearance, being smart, calm and the typical "Nice guy that wont get the hot girl" type.

In Anime's they call "Herrem" that tends to be the kind of main character they'd use. The one I'm thinking of in Particular is Keitaro from Love-Hina.

I don't really look like the stereotypical nerdy man though, is what I'm saying. Unless you're trying to say something else.

Ah, I understand. It was the phrase "picture" that you used. I assumed you meant the visualization of you that I have in my head.

You probably don't look like that IRL, no. It's just running from your personality and the way you type, I guess~

Yeah...I kinda think of it that way as well, but more just how they talk, not what they would look like.

Exactly, and since I'm visualising you by the way you're typing alone, and how organized and friendly you are... you seem like the Herrem choice of guy.

Herrem is more just above nerdy, like, good enough to get a girl kind of nerd. You know the type?

Uh, I guess so. (But that's kinda weird considering you said they're the type that wouldn't get the girl...)
