White & Purple Pikmin relegated to multiplayer mode only

Online leaderboards sounds awesome, I'm assuming that means this game will include the Miiverse multiplayer thing if there are online leaderboards. Not sure why White and Purple Pikmin are only in multiplayer though...

What really sucks is the fact that Pro controller and Wii Remote can be used, I was hoping this game would take advantage of the Wii U gamepad.

The Purple and White Pikmin only in multiplayer should have been expected since we hardly saw any of then in gameplay.
I'm glad then the game is using the Pro Controller since I plan on using the Gamepad as just the map.

I cannot find an non-embedded video of this, BUT, Reggie Fils-Aime just announced something cool. You will be able to try out Pikmin 3 on July 20th and 21st at one of 250 select Gamestop or EB games stores. I believe it's only Gamestop in the US and EB Games in Canada? Either way, you can go to one of the 2 stores and try it out.

I just hope a Gamestop close to my house is participating in this because I REALLY want to try out Pikmin 3, even if it is releasing just a few weeks after this event, I want to try it early. So I'll be hoping. :3

Eh, who really cares about the commercial, it doesn't show off anything the trailers don't, nor does it make me want to buy it. But that wasn't a bad commercial I guess.

September 26th.
I know it's almost two months after the release but still, I won't be playing my Wii U the whole month of August as I am at my cottage for 3 weeks and in London and Paris for the last week.

I will be playing my Wii U like a mad man after Pikmin 3 releases, I know this game will be great, so I can finally start using my Wii U as a Wii U rather than a Wii. But I suppose it's not like you'd be able to play it that much anyway if you won't have access to your Wii U for 3 weeks...

So in other words, we're probably going to get DLC for Pikmin 3. I wish that they would add incorporate of these stages into the final version of the game, but I guess that would make development even longer than it has been.

Y'know that's still like 2 months away, that sucks.

I'm going to be purchasing it in a few hours, I would just download it digitally, but I don't have a prepaid card or credit card to use. Plus I kinda want to have the disk, so I can save space on my Wii U, and so I can have the box.

I won't be playing my Wii U for a month Zero.
I would get it now if I were in Toronto no doubt.
