New Fire Emblem Game in Development?

"Nintendo has registered two trademarks in Japan today for the words “Fire Emblem” and “EMBLEM“. Interestingly, this shouldn’t been seen as a simple renewal, as the trademarks weren’t about to expire anytime soon. The trademarks were filed by Intelligent Systems, the critically acclaimed developer behind the Fire Emblem franchise. We have no idea what the trademarks are for, but hopefully they are a sign that a new Fire Emblem game is starting development."


Well I hope there is a new one.
Probably the Wii U if there is.

Shouldn't the topic title be "Fire Emblem trademarked again"?

I'm thinking since they trademarked "EMBLEM" that there might be a different emblem involved in the next Fire Emblem game. Perhaps the title wouldn't be Fire Emblem. I am hoping there is a Wii U Fire Emblem game, but I haven't even completed Awakening yet, so I won't buy it until I do.

If the next Fire Emblem game does release for the Wii U I hope it wasn't as bad as the Wii version was with how terribly imbalanced it was (impo.) >.>
