I never used Nintendo TVii so it's not big loss for me.

I also never used Nintendo TVii, and I don't know anybody who did. I'm sure there were a few, but obviously it wasn't enough to continue the service, and I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

I used Nintendo TVii like twice. XD I did it because I was just curious what using it was about; I thought that it was ok. I never saw the point of using it afterwards thou; since you can do the same kinda crap with twitter.

^ Oh yeah, I did the same thing, but I never actually used it afterwards. I just checked it out to see what exactly it was. XD

And I would agree with Jing, but honestly when barely anybody is making use of it, and Nintendo's still spending money for it's existence, it seems kind of pointless to keep it there. If it were something major like Miiverse of course, that'd be different.

Jing: "Yea, but it shows that Nintendo can remove any functionality from the Wii U. Thus establishing the trend of removing content when ever they desire. Like if the miiverse becomes too much of a problem for them to mess with; they could remove it only to have it available only on the 3DS."

So you know how there really aren't that many big titles releasing this holiday season on Wii U? It got me thinking, maybe they'll do a price drop so consumers are still slightly more interested in it despite the lack of major system-selling releases. (there's a lot of games, but when they're 3 niche Japanese games, a party game, and Mario Tennis, they aren't going to do much for the average consumer :p)

What do you guys think? I can see it dropping to $250 at the end of October or early November.

I think a price drop would benefit the Wii U for the holidays. Lack of major system sellers as you said. It may be a little early to tell if they have anything else planned but a price drop would be a good idea. They need to do something to help it. 2016 looks like a better year for the Wii U if the rumors about NX replacing it that year are false.

There not going to drop the price and the new store display the stores are getting makes me think that it will be mostly just 3DS games at retailers now while the Wii U takes more of a back seat.

If the Wii U drops in price, I'd be really surprised. More so since I doubt that the PS4 or Xbone is going to drop any further in their prices either.

A new Wii U bundle is coming to Europe including both Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon.



This is a really good idea and I hope they bring it to other regions too, the Wii U's top sellers in one package with the Wii U, it makes a lot of sense.

That is a good bundle right there. I never would have guessed they would combine Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon into one bundle. Sounds like a good idea with them being the best selling Wii U games. This could influence some sales.

I'm tempted by the Xenoblade Chronicles X Wii U bundle, even though I originally got the Legend of Zelda Wind Waker one. ~_~;

Well i have a Wii U in a few years ago, i attempt to play Super Smash Bros, and so does Mario Kart 8, I am planning to get Super Mario Maker and Yoshi's Wooly World for Christmas, and that is about it.
