I've seen some of that game, never played it though. The city looks pretty small and stuff...so I would imagine it gets boring easily.

Yeah, it seems more like 'Let's go to the Village'.

Lol, yeah. But I don't know, maybe it gets bigger as you go along in the game.

That's what I want for New Leaf. The Village/Town/whatever it is should grow the more you play and communicate with others.

Yeah, it'd be a nice feature. It's already out in Japan...not sure about whether they have one like that in that version of the game or not.

Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
The (NA) eShop has listed the game for $34.99. I think that even though it's only a $5 difference from most other 3DS games, that it's a really good deal and price.

Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
The Nintendo World Store will have an event for this game on 6/8 from 9am-1pm.
Source
I think the people who go can buy the game a day before it comes out.

Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
So I've decided I want to try this, but that doesn't mean I'm going to buy it...more likely just going to hog a demo of it at a store or something if there is one. It looks similar to MySims (which I didn't like much) but considering it's popularity, it might be something wort trying out.
I would want to go to the event so I could try it out...I highly doubt I will, or really that I will ever go to the Nintendo World Store. It would be fun though I'm sure.

Hey, he got the news in before me.
Nice.
Looks ridiculous though.
To me anyway.
I still don't think I'm going to get this.

Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
I plan to get AC NL when it releases. I even know what I'm naming my town. Only thing I'm uncertain is if you can move from AC CF to the 3DS.. I know it was possible to move from the DS to the Wii but Idk about reversing the process thou. xp

Of course he did. He always has the news...Luma Party wrote:Hey, he got the news in before me.
It's not really reversing the process, just moving it from Wii to 3DS...if you could do it in City Folk, I'm sure you could do it in this. If not, then it's not really a selling point for me since I don't even have City Folk...I imagine most would still get this.queenzelda wrote:I plan to get AC NL when it releases. Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
Well of course you can choose to download your character to the DS and go from one or more towns if you have them in City Folk. You could do the same in the GC game if you had two save files on the same console. Or even if a friend had a save you could visit their town. So I'm sure something will be available.
If not, I'm not too worried about it as I was just curious mostly.

Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
Gameguy always gets the news in.
It's cause when I was on for like an hour yesterday, I saw it and for some reason didn't post it.
Well, then again, I was studying for a French test.
I think we should nominate Gameguy "TNFS News Reporter" or something since it's obvious he is the fastest to get the news out.
That Animal Crossing game for the Wii was just so disappointing.
I played it a few times at a friend's house and in the end returned it before I even played my copy.
That's why I'm starting to give up on the AC series.

Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
So maybe it is just that Animal Crossing game that's boring. It's not going to stop me from getting this from someone else's opinion, I do still want to try this one, but I'm not quite sure I want to play City Folk. It really does seem boring, and the city is so small.
