Same here with the Gameinformers, but my brother still gets them for a price since he likes reading those...so I guess they are lying about that. Unless it's just in the premium card, or whatever that's called.

But is this game $40 then? Razz

34.99$ plus tax equaling to 37.something$. I forgot how much it was when we fully pre-ordered it...

I dunno where you're getting 40$ from. But judging from what you said it sounds like you meant pay 15$ for the PowerUp Rewards Card Membership to get GameInformer. IDK what you really mean...

Most 3DS games at their release are $40, that's why it was my guess. Might be that it is $40, but less for your sister since she preordered it. EDIT: Nevermind, it is $34.99.

Also, I'm not really sure what you mean, you confused me in your last sentence there about the PowerUp Rewards card.

I plan to pick up my copy of New Leaf sometime tonight. I always purchase mine at the same store & they usually have a pretty decent stock. If not I've got an 8 gig SD card I could just download to anyway so depending on how things go is how I'll get it. ;3

Iwata says that this game is better suited to be bought digitally. It's a game you may be playing throughout the year (or longer) and it's something you may want to always have with you on your 3DS instead of having a cartridge to use. I definitely understand this.

So if you can, it might be better to buy it digitally Queen.

xD What is Iwata my dad now or something? HA!

Personally I don't see what the difference would be by getting a physical copy vs the digital one would be really. Besides I have cash atmo & would need to purchase two $20.00 eshop cards in order to get the dl of New Leaf, so I'd have to go to the store for either the game or the eshop cards either way. :p

Ohh yea being mayor is AWESOME. It's a bit challenging though since you have to get a 100% approval rating. @_@ I've already put the down payment towards my house being built...

    Spoiler:

So far I'm pretty impressed with the improvements thus far.

But still... It reminds me so much of the DS version it isn't funny with how the flowers look in game and all. lol!

Watch Nintendo only stock a few copy of New Leaf. So they can improve digital sales for this game.

Not in my neck of the woods they haven't there was an abundant stock of AC: NL when I went into the store today. Being a big game release of course there's going to be TONS of copies of the game for sale in big stores that sell just about everything in them.

Any who.. I'll see if I can figure out how to take a screen shot of my game and post it asap the next time I play. ^^

Would be cool if they had an app for the 3DS to take screenshots of the game, it would be easier than having to take a photo with a camera.

Anyway, it would be nice if you could do that, haven't really looked at any of the trailers or gameplay of this.

    @Gameguy
That sounds like something they'd do though, even if they didn't.

Target, Gamestop and Walmart did not have any copies of New Leaf.

When I was at Gamestop a guy was tradeing his 3DS XL for cash towards an Xbox One.

    XD (Microsoft moron)

    Target and GameStop?
That's odd, when I'm in the US they always have new games, both stores...

Must've sold out, it was probably pretty popular. Same thing happened when I tried to get OoT 3DS.

And also, who would want to buy an Xbox One, especially when it's in replacement of a 3DS?
