Wii U Gamepad or Wii Remote?

Specifically for Pikmin 3, do you prefer to use the Wii Remote or the Wii U Gamepad?

I honestly think the Wii Remote controls more efficiently, but I use the gamepad more often just because it's more convenient and I can use the map on it.

I like using the Wii remote more since the control is better. However I do use the Gamepad for the map.

I played the demo,and I like both. The Gamepad has the map, and the Pikmin throwing, while the Wii remote does better job at, the Gampad suffices.

I prefer using the Gamepad all the time for Pikmin 3. The map is helpful and the "Go here" function is extremely useful for multitasking. Controlling the 3 captains at the same time using the Gamepad is too good to pass up. The controller itself is much more comfortable in my opinion.
