Controller Port on Wii Remote Allowing For PS3, PS4 Controllers

Cyber Gadget has created a controller accessory that will allow you to plug a PS3, PS4, PC, or Arcade Joystick controller into your Wii or Wii U Remote. It will release in November in Japan, later in other regions.



While Nintendo probably wouldn't be too happy about this, I think it's a good idea. Some people are used to non-Nintendo controllers, and maybe it would make it easier for somebody who has been playing a PS3 for years to switch over to Wii U without really having to switch controllers. I really like the idea to be honest.

I guess this is cool but, some of the info does not sound good.

- connects through the port in the Wii Remote

- cable is 15 centimeters long
- depending on the system software your Wii U/Wii uses, the adapter may not work properly
- a future update could cause the product to malfunction
- controllers that are not specifically listed may not work

Since the product can break through a system update I don't think it's worth it.

Looks neat but I'd be concerned about it briking the controller in the middle of my playing a game. xp
