My only issue with using Pokemon bank is that I know I'll loose some Pokemon that I hacked in using codes or the later DS titles.. So, unless I'm allowed to upload hacked in Pokemon: I won't be using this service myself. -_-

Not gonna use it, out of the DS/3DS games, Pokemon Y is the only one I own. So it's pretty much pointless to me anyway. Unless you can transfer Gameboy Pokemon over, which you can't...

I'll most likely use it sir. I have a bunch of old Pokemon DS games & I could use it to transfer & keep all of my Pokemonz in one place really.

    Pokémon Bank has been delayed.

Nintendo of America Website wrote:Release of Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter postponed due to a large volume of traffic to the Nintendo Network service

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company International have postponed the launch of Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter – two software applications that were originally scheduled to launch for Nintendo 3DS on Dec. 27 – due to a large volume of traffic to the Nintendo Network service. Due to the high traffic, players are having trouble setting up Nintendo Network IDs and downloading content in the Nintendo eShop on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. We truly regret the inconvenience, and wish to reassure everyone that providing a solution is our top priority. We apologise for the delay and thank you for your continued patience.

I guess it makes sese why, but it kinda sucks for those who were planning to use Pokémon Bank. (personally I wasn't)

It looks like Pokemon Bank can now be downloaded.

This might get the 3DS eShop to crash again since so many people will try and download this at the some time. I will wait until the 1st to download since hardly anyone will be on the eShop that day.

Can it only be downloaded through that QR Code? If so, that's strange, I wonder why they would do that. (maybe to prevent tons of downloads at once)

Actually the QR code just launches to the eshop page & the application isn't available for download.

According to this; the Pokemon Bank for "Pokemon X and Y" is still delayed for North America and Europe, and there does not seem to be any news on when it will be made available for download. But for the lucky few who were able to download the feature before it was removed from the eShop, Serebii reports that the Poke Transporter has already been added to the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop.

This means that the feature is accessible via the Pokemon Bank software. Once accessed, users will be taken to the eShop page, and only then can they access the Poke Transporter for the "Pokemon X and Y."

The rumor for the Pokemon bank being available for download is January 7th, 2014; which is only 4 days away. sauce

Pokemon Bank is officially back up in Japan!

I wonder when it'll be available for North America...hopefully soon considering it's on the Japanese eShop now. Oh, and in Europe and other regions as well, I tend to say NA just because most of us live there, lol.

It seems like Pokemon Bank might be coming to North America soon.

Maybe it will be ready to download after the next Nintendo Direct?

I want this, but only so I can get the Pokémon Transfer that comes with it. I have some Pokémon I want to transfer from my Black version to Pokémon Y like legendaries for Pokédex reasons.

I don't think I'll be using the storage feature of Pokémon Bank.

Isn't the storage feature necessary for Pokemon to be transferred? Either way, I wouldn't mind paying for the storage feature. I'll have all of my Pokebros which makes like a little easier.

^ No actually, I'm pretty sure that the only reason Poke Transporter is a separate application from the Bank is because you can transfer the Pokemon from the DS games to X and Y using the storage already available in X and Y. But if you download Pokemon Bank, you can transfer them over to the storage in that application instead. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

As for me, I own NONE of the DS Pokemon releases, so both apps are useless. XD I just hope you can use them for future Pokemon titles, if I ever get more Pokemon games, I can transfer them from Y.
