Haha, I bet you were pleasantly surprised!
Hacked Pokemon can get through unless they seem over hacked, for example "A level 100 Shiny Bulbasaur caught in the wild with perfect stats" likely wont get through.
But if you hacked one that was found in Oak's Lab, had /decent stats/ and wasn't over powered, it'd likely pass. Although I do have a theory that anything from Hoenn, Kanto, Jhoto or Shinoh could be caught anywhere (like, forcing an enounter), because at that point the data is lost as to where it was caught.
Anyway, you can totally get away with having some hackmons on there as long as it's legit looking, so there's hope for people who used AR to get all starters or something.
Zero Revolution wrote:^ No actually, I'm pretty sure that the only reason Poke Transporter is a separate application from the Bank is because you can transfer the Pokemon from the DS games to X and Y using the storage already available in X and Y. But if you download Pokemon Bank, you can transfer them over to the storage in that application instead. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
As for me, I own NONE of the DS Pokemon releases, so both apps are useless. XD I just hope you can use them for future Pokemon titles, if I ever get more Pokemon games, I can transfer them from Y.
Ah, how I wish that were true, it would of saved me a lot of time.
Since you didn't use the transporter I'll tell you how it works (unless you already know now, oh well!) You use bank to download the transporter, then on a Gen 5 game it will send "box 1" into a "Transfer box" in Pokemon Bank, so then when you're on bank you can decide what Pokemon goes onto bank or in game.
I guess it's the most convenient of doing it, but when you're transferring Pokemon you KNOW you want in game, it can be annoying.
Also, you likely figured this one out aswell, but Bank isn't based around Gen 5. Players who just own Gen 6 can store pokemon on it too, so bank itself has got a use for you in a way...
Zero Revolution wrote:And I personally haven't downloaded it yet and probably never will. I'm curious to see if anybody purchased it for $5 though, I know Mega Raichu wanted to get this...
Once the 30 free days are up I'll be buying it, £3 for a whole year, you can't go wrong. Plus I think it's going to be like a "Pokemon Premium" deal where Bank Members will get nice things transferred to them every so often.
