Re: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
I've played blue, and the game is good, and I do enjoy playing it with the different starters. I always wanted to get sky, and just never got around to having the money and getting the game at the same time.

I just don't have the same appeal to them compared with the mainstream games.

Re: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
I love the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. A great plot and the option of playing as Pokemon characters is a truly great combination (at least for me).
I really am looking forward to the upcoming 3DS PMD game that was recently announced.

Re: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Meh, I played the first 2, and I wasn't gripped enough with the game play to beat them, but think I might pick up the 3DS ones, I'd like a revisit to the franchise... and my 3DS collection is looking slim.

The only one I have played is Explorers of Darkness. And that was really good.

Re: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
I've gotten sky since the last post, so far I like it more than Blue because it gives some of the characters a bit more personality, plus with the bonus missions of other characters it kind of adds some replay ability.

I played the blue recuce team for the DS a few years ago. I plan on picking up the 3DS one with Luigi's Mansion.

Re: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Mhmmmm, this game looks groovy. I only watched a few mins of that vid since I think I might actually get this myself.
I don't like how they removed the questionnaire to determine your pokemon though, that was proper radical!

Re: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Yeah the before hand survey kinda made it feel you were supposed to be that pokemon, but considering they do like 10/100 questions it's like random in a way the pokemon you get, I do like the survey but allowing the character to just choose makes sense.

Re: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
It's not a major issue, I think it could be because they've made it so there are a a lot less pokemon to chose from, possibly just Gen 1 and 5 pokemon...
Not too sure though.

I really love Pokemon Mystery Dungeon! I have played Red Rescue Team and Explorers of Darkness and they we're both really fun to play. I must of spent hours playing both of the games.
