Sailor Moon Crystal

I need to get myself to watch this.

I've been waiting for it for so long & have yet to watch it.

I think I know why. I love watching a marathon of anime in one sitting rather than waiting for a new episode.

So, uh, yeah. Will prolly wait. lol

I still need to watch Sailor Moon before I can watch it. Yeah, I actually haven't done that yet. But I've heard it's great. Queen seems to love Sailor Moon Crystal, and she's a huge fan of the other series, so this is probably also great.

I also like watching many episodes of anime in one sitting. I can't really get myself to wait to watch the next episode for most anime.

I will have to watch all of Sailor Moon before this since I hate watching things out of order.

Well...you don't HAVE to watch the original before watching this.

This is an adaptation to fit more in tune with the manga. It's a reboot(it's not a continuation so to speak).

Also, Rei Hino(Sailor Mars) was always my favorite when I was younger. I honestly have no idea why. It could be because she had the ability to use fire. I'm not big on Sailor Moon or anything & didn't watch a lot of it growing up. All I know is I liked it.

Also, I like Tuxedo Mask as well. Dat rose.

Also; OMG I LOVE THE SERIES. The transformation sequences have so much more detail & I'm already on episode 3 (since it updates ever second Saturday). Today was the newest episode where Sailor Mars is discovered so; your in luck if you watch it now you only get to catch up to three episodes. A new episode airs online at the same time it shows in Japan. We get it subbed; which is nice. ^^

Oh. Well if it's just a reboot, I might wind up watching this first anyway. I didn't know that.

After watching Dragon Ball Z Kai, I was really worried about these other old anime reboots being toned down and not at all as enjoyable as the originals. SMC made me rethink. I torrented the first few episodes and it is flat out AMAZING. The new character designs, updated animation, environments, everything looked like eye candy. Hopefully when the Dub comes along they don't royally screw it (thank goodness 4kids is dead)

Well with the North American distribution rights being licensed by Viz Video it should be interesting; though from how it seems they are most likely to go with a new cast. sauce

Though tbh I've been really enjoying the English subbed versions just fine as is. :3

I'm glad it isn't Funi. They have been doing terrible decisions lately when it comes to localization and DVD releases (although DBZ Battle of Gods was pretty sweet)

I would be okay with a new voice cast. I honestly only watched a few dubbed Sailor Moon episodes and I found them annoying (it was the 90's after all). The subbed versions were definitely superior.

I wish I still had Crunchyroll so I could watch these in 1080p.

Well after about episode 12 I stopped watching this series cold. I liked how positive the 90's version was compared to how negative it's gotten for the new series. I also can't seem to stop seeing Usagi as Sailor Last Unicorn either since the animation reminds me so much of how Amalthea from the Last Unicorn movie was animated. The way both characters move is so much alike that it's (almost) maddening to me. xp
