Pokemon Crystal

It seems like Pokemon Crystal might also be on the way to the VC at some point.

ahahaha they left the patches for Pokemon Crystal's VC release in the GS VC ROMFS -- "CGBBXTJ0.534.patch". Classic.

I guess they held off due to most likely going for Crystal over the other 2 or it was just scraped all together.

Crystal is better than Gold or Silver and has an option to choose a female. DO IT NINTENDO. 

You also get neat little sprite animations for the Pokemon.

I think they most likely decided to wait on it so that more people will actually buy Gold and Silver, they wouldn't really be able to market the VC versions of those if this is available as well because it's supposed to be the better version. (and really is)

Honestly, if Crystal would be released I'd rather wait to get it, it's my favorite of the older GBC titles & would rather purchase it if given the option.

Pokemon Crystal will be released as a 3DS VC game on January 26th. You will also be able to catch Celebi in game. 



Again a moment where everyone is thinking they should have waited. At least Celebi can be caught for once and is not locked to an event.

It's about time. The Celebi info is fantastic news too, I think that means Shiny Celebi is finally released!

Oh. That is actually pretty cool. 

I would definitely get that if I got a 3DS again.
