Nintendo Predictions 2015

What do you predict will happen with Nintendo in 2015? Whether it be good or bad, new games, release dates, new consoles, or anything else, predict what you think will happen related to Nintendo this year! Here's mine:

- Zelda Wii U WILL release this year, in November, with minor Amiibo support.
- Mario Maker will be overpriced at $40 or more, and won't have as many features as expected.
- 1 or 2 more Wii U budget games (like Captain Toad, Kirby) will be revealed for release this year.
- Second Club Nintendo will launch near the end of the year (October or later) and will be more about discounts than free games.
- Virtual Console won't be rebranded, they just won't call the classic titles anything from now on
- Standard New 3DS will release in NA, at least a few months after other regions
- Splatoon will be a fairly big success (not Smash or Mario Kart levels, but will sell over a million copies)
- Codename S.T.E.A.M. and Smash will get DLC throughout the year
- New Pikmin game will be revealed, as a New 3DS exclusive title
- Animal Crossing Wii U will be revealed
- New Metroid game revealed
- Fire Emblem If will see release outside of Japan in Fall of this year
- Rhythm Heaven 3DS and Fatal Frame V will remain Japan-exclusive
- Another third-party joint game will be revealed for Wii U

-Animal Crossing Wii U revealed, releases in November
-Pikmin 4 on Wii U revealed as Late 2015 release date
-Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS and Nintendo GameCube games come to Wii U eShop
-New Nintendo Rewards Program starts in September, more rewards added
-Mario & Sonic Rio 2016 is announced for Feb. 2016 Release
-Mario Baseball Wii U game announced for August 2015 release
-Star Fox sells well
-Pokémon series of amiibo announced
-Super Smash Bros. series of amiibo finished
-All Mario Party 10 Playable Characters get amiibo
-Paper Mario announced for October 2015 release
-Pikmin Short Movies continued
-Quality of Life details confirmed, mid-2016 release date
-Zelda Wii U has amiibo support similar to Hyrule Warriors

Woah, what? That's not happening. If Paper Mario is revealed, it's at the earliest 2016. I just can't see them revealing a new Paper Mario game at any time this year that actually will end up releasing this year, unless it's already far into development and they just haven't revealed it yet. (which is unlikely considering Wii U's current state sales-wise) Just saying. But I agree with pretty much all of your other predictions and hope they come true. (in addition to mine of course!)

Zelda U has a gameplay trailer shown at E3 & tech demo available for download but is moved to release in 2016.
Metroid U is revealed; releases November of 2016.
I also think Animal Crossing Wii U will be revealed & released in Luma Party's time frame.
Pokepark U is revealed & will release in 2016.
Paper Mario U is revealed & will release late 2015 if not early 2016.
Xenoblade Chronicles X also has a gameplay trailer shown at E3 & tech demo available for download but is moved to release in 2016.

^ Xenoblade Chronicles X releases April 29th in Japan, I can't see it being delayed to 2016 when all they'd have to do is translate text. While it may take awhile, it's not going to take a year. (at least I hope not, the original Xenoblade was a different situation)

Something tells me that the online portion of the game will take time to patch. Still it's just my prediction; & I could be wrong.

-New 3DS regular will not release in NA
-New Mario Sports game for Wii U

-Nintendo continues with lackluster VC releases for Wii U, no new information about 64 and Gamecube getting VC releases 
-F-Zero Wii U is teased but not officially announced 
-OR F-Zero Wii U does get announced but has a new "gimmick" that ruins it 
-amiibo continue to get under stocked 
-Mewtwo is the only DLC Sm4sh gets 
-More Mario Kart 8 DLC
-Mario Maker will only have so-so sales

- Animal Crossing Wii U revealed, coming Summer of 2016
- Paper Mario Wii U revealed, holiday release
- Star Fox does not sell that while
- Metroid 3DS revealed
- Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 games revealed , November release
- Luigi, Toad, Peach and Rosalina are also playable in Mario Maker
- SNES Remix revealed
- amiibo keeps making Nintendo quite a bit of money
- NOA does not bring over the regular New 3DS
-  More Smash DLC revealed
- Fire Emblem If is dated for early 2016

^Toad, Peach (and definitely Rosalina) in Mario Maker won't happen.
Especially Rosalina, she's way to overrated and overused.
She's only been a character since 2007.

On the other hand, how did we all forget SNES Remix?
I would love that.

^ Only since 2007? You do realize that was 8 years ago now. I know time is going fast and it doesn't seem like it, but it was a fairly long time ago. And even so, why can't recent characters be portrayed in new games? Most games have multiple brand new characters, I guess those shouldn't be in the game because they're too new too right?

SNES Remix will happen eventually...probably sometime soon.

Rosalina is overrated Zero.
Why the hell is she in Smash?
They decide to just put her in everything all of the sudden.
But if it was a sidescrolling game playable?
That's going too far.

^ I really don't get why, she's just a character. I personally would say all Mario characters are overrated, because people actually like them. XD Just because she hasn't been around since 1985 doesn't mean she couldn't be playable in a Mario game, she already has been. (3D World) She'd be more interesting.

That was just my out there prediction that likely won't happen.

I will also add a few.

- Pokenn is ported to Wii U under the title Pokenn Fighters
- Pokemon Z, October for the regular 3DS
- Some kind of Mario game only for the New 3DS
- Wii U Sports Resort trail

^ Hm, going off of your Wii Sports U Resort thing, I wonder if they'll just add updated versions of the Wii Sports Resort games to Wii Sports Club instead. Although I think Wii Sports Club bombed at retail at least, so I don't know...I'll also add a few more of my own:

- Punch-Out!! has a new sequel announced on 3DS, be it on the eShop or a slightly lower priced retail game.
- There will be some Zelda-related announcement on 3DS, be it a new game or something else.
- Animal Crossing Amiibo set during fall and winter, maybe another Mario Amiibo wave as well
- Project Giant Robot will NOT actually be a part of Star Fox Wii U, but a separate thing
- Codename S.T.E.A.M. receives critical acclaim and is considered a classic
