I also enjoyed when Squirtle returned and I hope he comes back in Kalos and helps Ash. I also hope him and the squad let a new squad take over and come to Oak's Lab with the rest of the Ash's team.

It's about time one of Ash's water starters evolve and after Smash Bros him getting Greninja is almost a given. Forager has a great battle record with wins over 2 of Ramos's Grass Pokemon and a win over Scottie's Grovyle. Forager also has bright future with being the only starter on the Kalos starter.

Kingler also did not battle much and he got screwed out of a battle in the Sliver Conference. Kingler did beat Mandi's whole team, Pete's Cloyster and Misty's Poliwhirl in the Whirl Cup.

The story of Tauros is quite random since Ash just cought 30 of them at once and I always just thought he used the leader of the 30 in every battle. He did beat Drake's Venusur and tired with Frontier Brain Anabel's Metagross making him quite the powerhouse.

Pignite was really one of the 2 powerhouses in Best Wishes. Pignite defeated his past trainer Shamus, Bryacen's Cryogonal, Roxie's Scolipede, Cameron's Hydreigon and Ferrothorn. I also like how he knew Fire Pledge since it made him stand out a bit more from Ash's other fire types.

Glalie got oaked quick since he was the last member of the Hoenn team and he did got to battle in the Ever Grande Conference. He did take beat Clark's Charizard, Katie's Dugtrio, Morrison's Metang, and he tied with Tyson's Sceptile.

Krookodile was the powerhouse of Best Wishes. He beat Iris's Dragonite and Stephan's Liepard and Sawk in the Vertress Conference. He also had a good moveset with Dig, Stone Edge, Dragon Claw and Areial Ace.

Gliscor was just a crybaby Gligar before he got became a Gliscor. He did beat Byron's Bastiodon and he was left in training until he returned to Ash's team for the Lily of the the Valley Conference. He also beat Paul's powerful Drapion in the Lily of the Valley Conference as while. Glister also has a good moveset with X Scissor, Fire Fang, Stone Edge and Giga Impact.

I found it unique how Bayleef had a crush on Ash and she was the best battler on the Johto team. She beat Chuck's gym alone by taking out his Poliwrath and Muchoke and even beat Harrison's powerful Houndoom.

Staraptor was really powerful and he helped Ash win many battles. He beat Paul's Honchkrow, Candice's Medicham, Paul's Weavile and Nando's Roserade. He also had a good moveset with Quick Attack, Aerial Ace, Brave Bird and Close Combat.

Swellow is hands down the Ash's best flying type and my best memory of him is the double battle with Pikachu where they used thunder armor. Swallow took down Winona's shiny Swallow, Tata's Lunatone, Juan's Whiscash, Spenser's Venusaur and held it's ground when fighting Tobias's Latios.
