Will Splatoon Outsell Mario Kart 8 in Japan?

Just kind of curious what you guys think. The game is doing well so it doesn't really matter whether it does or not, but Splatoon has been outselling Mario Kart 8 consistently week by week (outside of the first week) in Japan based on Mario Kart's first 5 weeks and Splatoon's first 5. Do you think this will continue throughout it's life and that Splatoon will manage to outsell Mario Kart in Japan?

I honestly think it'll happen. It just seems really likely, and Japan seems to really be loving Splatoon. As long as they keep promoting it like they have been it should continue to do just as well.

No way since Mario Kart will always get more sales since it's more family friendly. I do believe it can be number 3 behind Mario Kart and Smash when it's all said and done.

^ Pretty sure Splatoon is already closing in on beating Smash Wii U in Japan, so it'd be number 2 if it never beats Mario Kart. ^^
