Paper Mario: Color Splash

So literally none of those even remotely relate to Splatoon except the paint hammer, and even that is a really big stretch. Clearly it's just an advertisement to really try to sell the game because they know people love Splatoon.

I think the game that Nintendo should have associated Color Splash with was Epic Mickey if they wanted to be more upfront about it impo. xp

I'm afraid "Cast memorable characters" is very likely untrue. Especially if they're comparing a paint bucket to the Squid Sisters. Perhaps he's a really good character, I just doubt it. It certainly wouldn't top the first 3 game's cast. I think it'll have a good amount of humor considering it's an Intelligent Systems game. Their games always had a good amount of funny moments, even when not intended, "(groans of increasing discomfort)".

Both games have a lot of color, sure. I honestly love that idea. Despite my very negative opinion on Color Splash, I still want to give it a try for the gameplay. It may lack one reason why the first two were so fantastic and why Super is still great despite it going completely in a different direction. I don't think it should be burned at the stake like what nearly everyone thinks when it looks pretty good despite the lack of actually interesting characters, this is coming from someone who loves the first two games so much and also enjoys Super Paper Mario a lot.

Desperate times call for desperate mentions.

Reviews are out for Paper Mario: Color Splash, and they've all been very positive! In fact, they're so much better than Sticker Star that I'm very surprised. I mean I do think it looks like a great game, but I thought the similarities to one that I (and most everyone else) hated would bring down the critics' consensus, but that clearly isn't the case. I just felt the need to post about it because I'm honestly pretty surprised at the reviews!

So yet another good game that won't sell due to most wanting Thousand Year Door 2 and for the fact that's it's on the Wii U. As for myself I will try and get the game soon since I just expected it to be a better version of Sticker Star and the reviews are saying that's the case.

Well since the game is releasing tomorrow I'm sure we'll all be able to find it sometime then. :p

I bought the game on Amazon so it's coming soon! I think it looks like a good one I don't want to miss out on. I didn't like SS but this is looking so much better.

I just got Color Splash on Saturday. So far I can say that personally I think it's really good. The Toad fetch quests are at least cute, the character Toads you help out are interesting, & I really am enjoying the feel over all of how the game seems to be playing so far. :3
