Could you maybe go into more detail? I'm kind of confused about what you're trying to say.

And the main idea was to have something visual to collect that looked cool on your profile. However, we are working on multiple things for them to be used for, so look out for those soon. :3 One is a new way to show them off, and one is sort of a game. But I won't go into too much detail just yet.

So it's basically like trading badges. If a badge is more valuable, perhaps you can give them more user points, plus the normal badge in return for the special badge.

^ I see, so using the badges sort of like trading cards? I like it. That would actually also fit in with one of the new uses for badges we're working on so we may wait until that to implement it if we do. I've said that for a few suggestions, but they should be ready soon so hopefully it's not much longer to wait. I see a new Direct coming soon. :3

I had an idea, how about having member profiles with status updates you can read while on the forum? Like I've seen with a few xenfro forums & sometimes even zetaboards. Idk if forumotion has anything like that but I thought I'd ask.

^ I definitely like the idea! I have seen that on some ZetaBoards forums but never forumotion, but I'm sure I can find some way to add it in in the near future. :3 (you might want to remind me after my show closes because that's all my mind's really on right now lol)

Sounds to me like you need some more help. Maybe you should consider promoting another new admin to help you out? -just saying man.

Ok, I've got a big question here; which is the following: What is this forum's rating? (G, PG-13, M, XXX?) Because honestly I have no clear idea of where the line is with the staff of tnfs compared to what forumotion's t.o.s will allow. I know that I can't cuss because of rule 6, and with forumotion's t.o.s posting any pornography is out. But beyond that; how far can an 'adult post' go before it becomes a ban-able offense?

I think we're more like PG or PG-13 really not excessively vulgar, but through something in with a little spice added, and like for people like me with a humor of a twelve year old, kinda just in that range. And really we never to my knowledge assigned a rating, so eh.

We don't really have a specific rating as I feel as though it depends on the circumstances. Cussing someone out or discussing something as a way of flaming is definitely not okay, however discussions about mature topics (depending on the subject possibly needing a warning) are okay. Really it's just so as not to offend or hurt anyone. Light swearing is fine especially considering we have censors, stuff like that really isn't a big deal.

Well, if say some one in the future talks about 'adult content' in their blog, it might become an issue then. I think if anything with some of the members turning into young adults themselves, some might try to push the boundaries just to see what the staff will do when push comes to shove. Boundries: i.e. rules should be set in the sand before it comes to that, or you might be sorry later. Don't mind me, though since I've been around internet forums where it's gotten pretty bad & seen a few bans go down because some one pushed too far.

Do you guys think we should make another rule to make it more clear what kind of content is too mature to be posted here? I thought we had it covered pretty well considering we haven't really had any issues with it but if you think we could have more to make it more clear what can and cannot be posted we can do that.

6. Swearing

Swearing is allowed on TNFS to an extent. It depends on your swearing and the level of severity used.

Like if I called one of you guys a "mother f*****' b**** n****", then that would obviously be both BAD and OFFENSIVE. However, if you were to use a really minor word that isn't usually regarded as offensive in general, then it should be fine.

However, please remember that swears should NEVER be used to talk about any single person, at least on this forum. (this rule quoted from Fluffiness~ in a separate post)

^ Well of course there's more than just swearing out there, there are plenty of cases like example 1 or otherwise, but I feel as though it's kind of implied stuff like that shouldn't be posted. However, because it's been brought up I'll see if there's something I can add to the rules to prevent things like that. Personally I'm fine with mildly inappropriate content and in the case of images, stories, etc. if a warning is posted beforehand they are fine as well. As long as it's not constant posting of such content or flaming it isn't that big of a deal to me personally. But of course it just depends on a case by case basis hence why we really didn't have anything in the rules before.
