    It's official. Although it of course makes sense given that Smash released over 2 years ago at this point, it's now been confirmed that Masahiro Sakurai is at work on his next project, according to an interview about the NES Classic Edition with Source Gaming.

    I'm just hoping it's a new Kid Icarus game. I'd LOVE to see a new one on Switch.

    Likely just the Smash Switch port so that Sakurai can add a few more crazy characters into the mix.
