Why on Earth is NieR: Automata there? That is not a RPG. It isn't even an Action RPG. From what I played of the demo, it didn't seem like one.
Maybe if I actually played the full game it'd give me a big fat slap in the face that it is(thus why i think it ISN'T an RPG of any kind).
Anyway... I am going with Persona 5. Haven't played any other 2017 RPGs AFAIK.

I liked Ever Oasis, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Persona 5. I enjoyed Persona 5 the most due to liking the characters, gameplay and the story while the others have some week characters.

NieR: Automata is great, not quite on NieR's level but still stellar. I've yet to play Xenoblade 2 (not owning a Switch and avoiding all spoilers may have something to do with that), my vote would likely go to that if I had.

Ever Oasis gets my vote. I've yet to play Xenoblade C2 (even though I do own both it & a Switch), but I really enjoyed Ever Oasis & after reading a few reviews for XB:C2 saying the controls are overly complicated, I'd say that EO wins my vote hands down. Also I'm not really a Persona kind of RPGer, so yea. lol
