Here's the pic of the day.

Sakurai wrote:Pic of the day. Here's a very, very new fighter in the upcoming Smash games, Greninja. Greninja's sophisticated moves are extremely fun to use once you get used to how it controls! The side special attack Shadow Sneak is a move that makes Greninja suddenly disappear and ambush opponents. If you press and hold the button, Greninja will move a greater distance. Another unique feature is you can move Greninja around freely while charging up.

Shadow Sneak would have been better if you could not move Greninja around when charging up. I'm thinking that Greninja is easy to KO though since he does seem to have any other week points.

Yeah, and I guess it's a cool move, but other fighters already have a similar one right? I haven't really played any of the games for awhile, but I remember Sheik had one just like Shadow Sneak.

Here's the pic of the day.

Sakurai wrote:Pic of the day. This is the final destination version of Gerudo Valley. No more surprise visits from Koume and Kotake, and the bridge is gone. There are no distractions and there's nowhere to run. And the score that plays in the background is "Gerudo Valley. You can make most stages turn into a final destination. Depending on the stage, it might be floating in midair or perched on a cliff."

This is the first time that we see a final destination skin on the 3DS and it looks good. I will still play on the regular Gerudo Valley though when I'm playing alone.

So I guess that means you can play on the Final Destination versions of stages outside of For Glory? That's cool but I likely won't ever even play on them. (even on the Wii U version with For Glory) I like to play on interesting stages rather than a flat platform myself...

It's for the competitive tournament matches Zero, Final Destination, no items, for all those boringly super competitive people out there.

Of course that's what it's for, I just personally find it boring to play on the flat stage. It's nice they're adding it for those who enjoy Final Destination, I'd just rather play a stage that's more interesting is all.

It seems like the Wii Fit Studio will kind of work like the Wario Ware stage in Brawl were you have to stop at some points in the fight to do Wii Fit moves and you might get an item if you do the right pose.

Hm, I like the idea, and I did really love to play on that WarioWare stage in Brawl. So if it's like that I'm sure it'll be a pretty cool stage. I guess we finally see something new, this is pretty much the first time since that Direct.

Tac sounds like a pain so I think it best to destroy those before the other bad guys in Smash Ran.

I wonder if he steals Little Mac's charged KO punch too, that would be really annoying. I also hope other enemies appear in Smash Run since they don't seem to be showing any others.

That's an interesting idea, to steal the charge, I was expecting to have him steal items but I like that more.

Yeah, it is more interesting. It does make me wonder though, Villager also has a move which lets him steal projectiles. Maybe he could have a move which lets you steal another character's charge as well? Maybe not, but it would be strange for just an enemy in Smash Run to do that, I think it's a cool move.

I guess there not all the same after all. I think Sakurai is saying this since the Wii U version will have more Assist Trophies and Pokemon.

So either the 3DS has different but similar Assist Trophies, or it just doesn't have them all, probably the latter I'd guess. But if there are some different ones mixed in, that would be nice.
