    @Luma
    It's a free download that requires Amiibo to play. So really if you're going to get some of the Animal Crossing Amiibo anyway, you might as well download it to at least try out.

    I know I'll want that Isabelle and KK Slider Amiibo so I'll probably play it.

    I'm not interested in this and I really like Animal Crossing. Of course I never expected something like this to get revealed. If it is a free download I'll try it as I'll probably be purchasing that Tom Nook amiibo.

    I guess Animal Crossing makes more sense than Metroid Party or other series that wouldn't fit too well in a party game.

    Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival will include online play, based on what is said on the back of the box:

    Awesome! Might make it a bit more worthwhile then, and it would mean I'd only have to pay $13 for one Amiibo to play with others. Not too bad if the game has more content than just the board game.

    I heard Mario Party 10 didn't have online, which is insane, so I guess it's good they have it in another party game.

    Cool I never expected online play because of Mario Party 10 lacking it. Makes it a little more worth the purchase. I can't help but get the feeling they added online play due to the negative response from fans for this game, maybe they were going to add it anyways.

    That had nothing to do with there being online. It seems like the report of the game being free might not be true if there's online. Of course they might have added it since the game is very basic.

    How can the game be free if Best Buy is selling a bundle with two amiibo, and 3 amiibo cards for $80?...

    ^ The download version is free. The retail version comes with all the Amiibo and Amiibo cards, the packaging, and a disc, of course it's not going to be free. The $80 price is likely a placeholder, too.

    No Zero, it's Canada.
    Everything that's $60 US is $70 here, everything $70 is $80.

    ^ Yeah and I highly doubt it'll be that highly priced. I mean how much are 2 Amiibo figures and 3 Amiibo cards, as well as packaging worth? $26 for the figures, maybe $5 for the cards, it'll be $30 at most here, meaning it's likely $40 in Canada.

    ^ Oh no, sorry, I guess I mistyped that. It comes with Isabelle and Digby's Amiibo, 3 Amiibo cards, and the game disc/packaging. Whereas the digital version is just the game.

    So in the end it is better to just get the game digitally and the amiibo seperately.

    I mean probably, but a lot of people won't go digital AT ALL if given the physical option. I'll just download it since I'm planning to get that KK Slider Amiibo anyway.

    We still don't even know if the game is free until Nintendo themselves say it is. Josh just got the info from a Nintendo rep and they hardly know much. Also does anyone think there might be 4 more amiibo since 8 characters seems a bit small for a Party game.
