Pokémon for Nintendo Switch

Post by Gameguy1996 on Tue Jun 13, 2017 8:08 pm

During the Spotlight event the Pokémon CEO shared info that Gamefreak has started work on a core series Pokémon game for the Switch.

I expect it to be Gen 8 and I guess know we know why Game Freak is hiring more workers.

This is so exciting! Depending on how it looks, I'll probably end up getting back into the series on Switch once this releases. It's so cool to see the series jumping to home consoles.

Personally, until I see more info about Pokemon Switch I'm going to wait to get onboard the fan hype train. For all I know it could be Pokemon Stars, or Pokemon Z up next & honestly I'd love to see something new on the Switch. Like Pikachu dressed up as a wizard, Bunnery as a cleric, etc. The plot? An evil meowth has put King Ash into a deep sleep! In order to save him Pikacu & those of his friends & in King Ash's army must venture forth & find the 4 ingredients to wake him up. The game allows a party of four, and can be played by one person alone or with multiple friends in co-op or over wifi. I was thinking 1-4 player capable but if you want to play as 2 its fine since the others would just be ai, even if just a single player.

The gameplay would be like old school Zelda, but with Pokemon. During certain scenes, since I was thinking it would be kind of like a play & there would be a narrator who'd give you the option to choose which monster to battle, or even a mini boss.

Now, if we got something newish like I described I'd be pretty stoked. xp

Extra stuff:

One day soon I shall surpass you Luma, I the Queen of Zelda do declare it so!!
