Wii U GameCube Controller Adapter Revealed

Nintendo has revealed an adapter that allows you to use your GameCube controllers on Wii U! Smash Bros. is confirmed playable with this, and I'm guessing there will be others too, or there would be no reason to make this.



That's pretty cool! I love the GameCube controller, so I'll probably wind up getting this at some point if it becomes compatible with other Wii U games outside of just Smash Bros.

Yea, if this adapter allows me to play more then just one game with a Gamecube controller then I think it'd be well worth the purchase for the adapter. I'm just hoping the Gamecube controller adapter doesn't turn into another wiispeak where it's only used for a few games & then forgotten about later on in it's life. xp

I will get this when it comes out but, there will be cords everywhere if you have tons of things plugged in next to you Wii U.

If they bring GameCube games to the Wii U VC and start selling GameCube controllers again, I'll buy it.

Alright so I'm absolutely getting this right away, I already have multiple Gamecube controllers now I won't have to buy a bunch of Pro controllers.

This is very helpful since I use the GCN Controller to play Smash Bros.
