- Who Killed Toadsworth? : The Revenge of the Killer (by Bowser498)
Once upon a time, there was a plumber named Mario. He was known to be the most popular video game character ever. But to start off, this story took place on Halloween, as that is one of the spookiest holidays ever. So Mario and his friends got an invitation from their old friend, Toadsworth, of his 62nd birthday. The letter read:
Dear Guest,
Today is my 62nd birthday! It would be very appreciated if you came. Cake, fruit, and sweets will be handed out there! I hope you come to PARTY! Oh, and the address is 71 Boo Ave.

About 20 of his friends got the letter. Then, they made plans to meet at Peach's Castle...
When they all got there, they started to have random discussions about the party until Yoshi screamed out "IT'S A TRICK! I AIN'T FALLIN' FOR TOADSWORTH'S TRICKS AGAIN!" Because last year, he said that there was going to be tons of fruit at the party, but there was not one fruit in the presence of his house. So Yoshi ran away immediately. However, everybody at the party thought Yoshi was being a complete fool, going while Yoshi stayed back, begging for them to not go.
So when they all got there, they all decided to knock, as it was the polite thing to do. And then Wario said "KNOCKING? LET'S JUST BUDGE IN. HE WON'T NOTICE!" So they all crept in like bandits trying to steal money from a bank. About 15 feet in, Bowser Jr. stepped in some liquid substance. When Luigi flicked the lights on...
They saw that the liquid substance was red, oozing blood. Toadsworth was dead. Then, everybody shrieked in horror. They all knew that one of the people in this room was the killer. Everybody in the room was screaming so loud that people 50 miles away could hear! Immediately, they ran for the door, but it shut, and was locked. They shrieked even more! A few seconds later, they all decided that they would need to kill the killer once and for all. Immediately, people started to have their suspicions until Mario said:
"I know who did it! Bowser killed Toadsworth!"
Immediately, Bowser yelled:
"WHAT? NOOOOOOOOOooooooo........" At that moment, a chandelier fell and killed Bowser. Luigi was then wise enough to know that in Boo's Mansion, you would say the killer's name and who killed it, and you would die. He announced his hypothesis, and said that Daisy killed Toadsworth. Immediately, she collapsed from being decapitated. On the floor, it looked like she was crying for help as her mouth was open the whole time. Luigi then laughed and said "Hahahaha! She soooooooo deserved it! She was never my girlfriend, but I do know that the killer was.................." He was then scared from Daisy on the floor that he died. Immediately, Mario commited suicide to be with his bro. His last words were "I shall die so I can be in the prescence of my brother - I shall be in the afterlife starting after the time that I will stab myself. I'm doing this...for the love of God."
Everybody was then crying, until DK said "I DID IT!" Seconds passed, but he didn't die. Koopa then said "Maybe you didn't die because you didn't say the words 'Killed Toadsworth' in the sentence." DK then made his proclamation, and then a massive sun popped in front of him, and he was screaming in agony as he was slowly burning. About two minutes later, many Boos came swerving around the group as if scientists were observing dissected frogs. Not only that, but a huge Boo appeared out of nowhere, and the group immediately ran to the basement, as the door shut upon them. Toad then strode to the top stairs, not knowing that he was about to get electrocuted. The moment he touched the door, many yellow plasma-like sparks flew from the door onto the wooden tile. Toad's body bounced down the stairs, bobbing back and forth like bobbing for apples. That big Boo immediately flew past the door and surrounded the group. However, Bowser Jr. had a magic potion to warp themselves to the top of the castle. Immediately, they went back to discussing. One person thought Junior did it, and they threw him off the roof, seeing him cry in misery as he slowly moved his body. Then, hounds came from the roof and devoured him alive. As they saw his face disappearing into the hounds' faces, Someone then shot Junior, but none of them had any form of weapons. Who killed him? Near 11:30 PM, only five of the crew were left: Wario, Koopa, Goomba, Diddy, and Luma. Luma immediately flew away to the Comet Observatory to escape the commotion, and then Goomba saw a 1UP a few feet away. He dashed for it, and ate it whole. 30 seconds later, his face started turning orange, and he fainted. Seconds after he died, the group heard some creaking from below. It was Big Boo. However, Wario had a plan. He would pretend that he was dead so that Big Boo wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. Both Koopa and Diddy agreed, and they all lay, backs showing, with some red "blood" oozing from their mouths.
The three of them fell asleep. When they woke up, they all immediately knew where they were: Peach's Castle! They were all there in one piece, so they began searching for Yoshi. However, when they started moving, they noticed that they were tied in chains. And when they looked down, they noticed they were inches above a lava pit, with bubbling lava the color of the sun. Also, they noticed Big Boo to the left of them, and he then said: "I got a 'confession' to tell you. I'm not a Boo. I'm...........
Yoshi."
Everybody shrieked in horror. They let him stay home to prepare a lava pit! As he lowered them down, Diddy immediately swung on the chains, far enough to attack Yoshi. He barely hit the lever, causing the chains to stop. Yoshi then pulled out his gun, and put on the blood that he collected from his "friends", on his face. However, the glass paintings in Peach's Castle came to life, and they all attacked Yoshi, causing him to vomit and bleed from his mouth. As the blood was gradually oozing from his mouth, they put Yoshi on a Judas Cradle and left him there to die. Worst off, people were using him as an "archery target", and Diddy's third arrow shot right into Yoshi's heart, causing him to buy the farm. They then threw his body into a lava pit; then they noticed shadows starting to form. It was their friends, coming back to life. Everybody greeted each other again, but DK, Mario, and Bowser killed the three before they could say a word, and.........
That's it! What ever happened to Diddy, Koopa, and Wario? Where did they go after they died? Well, these mysteries will never be solved again...

- Cursed Majora's Mask (by Queen and Yami Yugi)
I found the above Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask at a local video game store called Gameswap & thought it was interesting that some one not only messed with the color of the cartridge by recoloring it neon green; but the person had also changed the image that was on the front around. I found it quite: quaint. Chuckling as I picked up the cartridge I showed it to my best friend Queen who was looking at the gameboy advance titles.
"Hey come over here I want you to take a look at this." I told her all happily and she asked me; looking really hard at a gameboy advance version of Pokemon Emerald, "What is it I'm trying to see how much Pokemon Emerald is.."
"Just come on I found an odd version of Majora's Mask. You have to come & see this." I told her & she just says; "Wait, really? I hope it's not a gray cart with the word Majora in black permanent ink on it.. Cause if it is I'm going to suggest you PASS on getting it." She told me which only made me look to her with a confused look on my face. "Just come on." I told her & she just sighed to nod & follow me over to where all of the N64 titles were. And as I showed it to her; sitting inside of the case she shook her head to say; "I don't know.. I don't like that some one messed with the way the game is supposed to look like that.. Something just isn't right." She told me with her arms crossed.
"That's what makes it interesting to me. Besides; look it's a good ten bucks cheaper if I get this one compared to any of the other used copies here. Come on even you have to appreciate that this copy is a much better value. I mean you are the queen of deals & all." I told her grinning as she just giggled to nod & say; "Yea, maybe but I still wouldn't get it. If I were you I'd get one of the other used titles.. I still say something just isn't right about that neon green one there.."
"Maybe but I'm getting it anyway. Besides; what's the worse that can happen? It's just a video game." I told her chuckling to walk over to the check out line & asked the man behind the counter for the game. As he rang me out he asked looking up to me; "Anything else?" Nodding I said; "Yea." As Queen came over to my side to lean against the front of the counter as I asked; "How much is that Pokemon Emerald gameboy advance game?"
"Since the battery for it will save, but not allow for the growing of berries it's on sale for $20. Did you want it sir?" He asked me as Queen looked to me curious what I was up to I nodded to say; "Yea, I'll take it too." Smiling he walked over to get out not only the Pokemon Emerald game but the neon green colored Majora's Mask game that I pointed out to him that I wanted. Eventually he came back to the desk to ring me out & I'd only spent all of $25 for both games as Majora's Mask rang up for all of five dollars."
"Wait; I thought that the neon green Majora's Mask was on sale for fifteen dollars not five?" I asked looking to him curiously; but he shook his head to say; "It's a special. Don't worry about it."
Shrugging I said; "Alright if you say so." Grabbing the bag with the games I looked over to Queen & nodded for us to get going. As she ran over to my side she asked me; "Why did you get Pokemon Emerald too?? Is it cause I was looking at it?"
"Maybe." I winked over to her; "You'll just have to wait & see. So, you want to come over & look at the Majora's Mask game I bought? I mean you know it by heart & I could use the help getting through it."
"Or.." she began raising her hand up with her index finger raised in the sky; "You could grab your N64 & just bring it over to my place." She told me winking back; which only made me laugh. "Alright but I can only stick around for so long before I have to get home & get some sleep before going to work."
"I know." She told me swaying back & forth with her hands clasped behind her back; "But you can always come over & play if you leave your N64 & game at my place." Which only made me laugh to say; "You just want an excuse for me to leave my game at your place so you can play it too."
"Who me?" She asked as we both headed out of the mall in which held the Gameswap that we'd both gone in to look at games together in. "I would never do that!" She said in a joking tone but then stuck her tongue out at me to reply; "Well to be honest; yea I'd totally do that." She giggled.
Chuckling I smiled & said; "Yep; I figured as much." Opening the riders side door for Queen after I unlocked my 2003 black Chevy Silverado truck. Placing the bag with the games in her lap I smiled to walk over & got into the drivers side. Starting the truck I asked her after making sure we were both buckled in; "So you wanna go out to eat some where? My treat."
"I could just make us some home made chicken salad. I have some left over herb chicken I could use to make it with if you wanna save your money to pay for gas or what ever. I'm saving back for Pokemon Omega Ruy & Alpha Sapphire... So I just don't want to put you out." D: She told me worriedly.
I just pat her left leg to shake my head & say; "Come on I insist. You've done a lot for me helping me to figure out how to do laundry. I had no idea how to wash clothes & to you it was second nature. You also helped me to figure out how to cook for myself & you've cooked enough for me that I want to pay you back."
"Well alright but only if you tell Jing that you insisted." She told me with a grin & I nodded to agree. "Don't worry about it, we are friends." I smiled.
Thus I took her out to eat at Lee's Famous Recipe which was her idea since I was the one who asked her where she wanted to go out to eat at. She ended up getting a shrimp meal that was offered while I ended up getting the chicken strips meal. Sitting with her I talked to her about how she'd been doing, what she & Jing had been up to, and everything else in between. When some one I worked with saw me sitting with Queen came over & introduced himself to her.
"Hey!" He smiled; "I'm Mark. Who might you be?" He asked after saying hello to me. Queen just smiled & nods to say; "I'm Queen, I'm an old friend of Yusei's." She told my friend. Mark smiled to say; "Oh, Yusei has told me about you. Nice to meet you; I work with Yusei & have been his friend for about a year or so now. So.. What are you two up to today?" Mark asked to which I told him we were out catching up & that I bought a few video games. Mark of course asked what I bought & told him that I got Pokemon Emerald & a neon green Majora's Mask that had it's label messed with.
"What? But that was my cousin's game. I didn't know he sold it. Where did you buy it from?" Mark inquired & Queen told him before I could that he'd sold it to Gameswap. "It doesn't matter anyway cause it belongs to Yusei now. So no take backs once it's sold to a store."
"Yea I know.. I just thought it was odd they took it was all." Mark mused while I asked; "Why's that?"
"Because something wasn't right with that cartridge. I think the battery in it had issues or something. Or that's what he told me & is probably why he sold it." Mark sighed; "I'm sure the store replaced it's battery & it works fine now. Oh looks like my food is up; I'll catch you later."
Mark then got up to grab his order which he'd gotten to go before coming over to talk to Queen & I. Waving to my friend he waved back & ran off. Turning back to Queen she had finished her meal & was just sitting there with a curious look on her face. "What's wrong?" I asked her & she says; "I kind of doubt that Gameswap even fixed the battery. The battery in the Metroid Fusion game that I bought from them.. Wasn't right either. It didn't play right & some times it was more creepy then something I'd actually want to play again. If I were you I'd take that game back tomorrow before you go to work." Queen told me.
"Na, it'll be fine. I'm sure it'll play fine. Besides I'm going to be playing it over at your place what could go wrong?" I asked her grinning as she says; "Hopefully.. This won't turn out to be another case of a haunted video game cart. So if you end up meeting face to face with a save file named BEN don't say I didn't warn you."
Getting up after both Queen & I finished eating our meals I tossed out the trash for the both of us & helped her down from the chair which sat as high as a bar stool. "Thanks." She told me smiling; nodding I say to her; "Well you are my Queen after all." Which only made her giggle & blush a deep red. Placing my arm around her I escorted her out of the small town restaurant & back outside to the truck I had parked just outside. Getting her inside the truck & buckling up I then drove the both of us to where I lived. Getting out of my truck; I opened Queen's side & she hugged me telling me she'd just walk home from there. I told her to wait; my N64 was just inside my house & I had it all ready to go all I had to do was get together the cords, controller & bring it out to the truck. She agreed & quickly I ran inside to grab my N64; a good 20 minute later after grabbing everything I needed I took a box with the N64 inside it. Getting back into the truck after I closed up the box & placed it in the back of the truck, I drove us over to Queen's house. Once there I parked out in front of her home giving Jing enough room to park behind me.
Once inside Queen's house she helped me to set up the N64 & minutes later I turned on the power with the neon Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask game popped inside. Starting the console up; the game started by showing Link obtaining the Zora mask, showing when he puts the mask on & the mask's eyes are all blacked out. Thinking nothing of it I hit the start button on the N64 controller & was meet with one used save file & two empty ones.. But the empty ones were both blue tinged looking for some odd reason. The save file at the top was called Xernis which sounded like an odd name to me but Queen just giggled to say; "I bet they were trying for the name Nerites & missed it by a mile!"
"Who?" I asked not even aware that Queen was such a huge mythology buff. XD Queen then explained to me that Nerites was one of the names given to the god of the ocean. I just shrugged & said; "Huh, ok well lets just see how far the Xernis file got to then."
"I wouldn't do that. I'd start a new file myself." Queen told me but I just shook my head to say; "Na, it'll be fine." To start up the file & found that the file was saved just outside of the beach house that was just outside of where the ocean in the game was located.
Taking a look at the items the file had; Xernis seemed to have all the masks that lead up to their getting the zora mask. "Looks to me like who ever played this game last got as far as getting the Zora mask. I just wonder if they beat the boss inside the water temple." Is what Queen commented on when I asked her; "What do you mean?"
"Well if the person who played doesn't have the song that is learned from the baby zora's then you'll have to go & rescue them in order to get the song & open up the way to the Great Bay temple." She told me as I said; "Well then it sounds like that's what I need to do in the game. I don't see any zora babies inside any bottles. So how about I pick up where Xernis left off?"
"Sure if you want to but it's more fun when you play the game from the beginning in my opinion.. But you are aware that Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda title." Queen giggled.
"Yea, I know." I told her nodding; "Did you wanna play this file for a bit & see what needs to be done? I could be missing something." I told her as she says; "Nope; this is your decision & if I were to play I'd start a new file."
"Alright alright I got the point." I laughed to walk back over to the owl statue close to where I'd started the game from & once saved I restarted the game. Once restarted the same opening I'd seen before appeared; but not noticing I just hit start. Once I hit start I noticed that the beginning file was no longer there.
"Wait, what happened?.. Didn't I just save?" I asked as Queen says; "Sounds to me like the battery is more fried then we might think. Still if you want you can leave it here & I can leave it on so you don't have to worry about not having to save it."
"Na, I can do that when I get home. I just want to start a file & see how far I can get on my own.." I told Queen. But when I started up the new file from the top where the old file had been I still started out in the same spot as the Xernis file... "Wait; doesn't the game start outside of the beach area?"
"No, it shouldn't. Maybe the battery just booted up the last save even if it says it isn't there? I have no idea otherwise.. Cause this game starting from the ocean.. Just doesn't make sense." Queen told me to look the file over. "Well since I can't seem to start from the beginning I'll try playing it from this point in the game."
"Yea, you probably should." Queen told me. Nodding I decided to play through the game. And as I played I eventually was able to get into the Great bay temple. Eventually I made my way to the boss room & fought against the boss. But once I defeated the boss; I went to pick up the heart piece & walked into the light to be taken inside of the moon? "Wait.. That isn't right." Queen said; "You should have just been taken outside of the temple not straight to the spot just inside the moon."
Then the scene with Majora played out & I was advised by Tatl to take out the ocarina. Once I did so a memory of how Link learned the song of storms played.
"Wait.." Queen said; "That's not right either."
"Well what ever is going on I'm going to play the song of time & restart the day over." I told her but Queen tried to warn me by saying; "Don't do it. If Ben's story is any indication of how to play this game; you need to do what the game prompts you to do."
"No, I'll stick with the song of time. It'll be fine." I told her & decided to get out Link's ocarina. I then played the song of time. Once the song finished the game then flashed black to show Link instead of being outside of the middle of Clock town; but underneath the drowned zora guitarist Mikau.
I moved Link so that I could get him out from underneath Mikau & swum behind him to the beach. Mikau played his song & told his story of what happened to him. After playing the song of healing instead of getting the zora mask Mikau came back to life & said that my work wasn't done yet. The game then froze after that. I turned the game off & said to Queen; "Well that was weird." Seeing that it'd gotten late I say to her; "Opps I've got to go. I'll just take my game & N64 with me. I'll restart again since I don't think this time the game played the way it should have."
"Ok, but be careful. There's something not right about that game." Queen warned me. But of course I didn't listen & just unhooked my N64 & put it back in the box with the game still inside the console. I hugged Queen & told her I'd see her later; to leave & head home.
Once at home I hooked my N64 back up & restarted a new file. This time on the second file. This time the game played the way it was supposed to. Making my way through all of the game I got all the way to the end & when I battled against Skullkid I fought against him using the zora mask just because I could. But as I finished making my final blow; the game froze right on zora Link attacking against Skullkid except it WAS Skullkid minus Major's Mask.. Which I found to be odd. Restarting the game I picked it back up where I left off before heading in to defeat Majora but this time when I started up the save file instead of starting out as Link as I'd had saved the game before Link was now zora Link with the zora mask on.
Not thinking about it I just figured it'd save me the time of putting the mask in in order to battle against Majora in zora Link form anyway. Thus after using the song of double time I was able to make my way into the main part of the main boss's room. Majora would soon be defeated.. But instead of finding Majora awaiting me.. As he should be in the game.. I saw Lulu waiting for me instead. Walking up to her I had zora Link speak to her & she told him the story about loosing her babies & how worried she was. Thus the game was playing the flashback that Mikau tells to Link after the song of healing is played to sooth Mikau's soul & get the mask. Lulu then proceeded's to sing the serenade of water indicating that Link should play the song learned. So I went ahead & played the song to then end up getting warped to the laboratory. Once Link arrived at the laboratory; I had Link go into the Lab to see all of Lulu's babies were inside of the tank. Walking up to the babies I had Link whip out his guitar seeing as I was still using the zora mask. Learning the song Link was then be told by the scientist to take the song to their mother. Using the warping song I warped to the Great Bay & played the song for the mother.. But instead of her singing the song after I played it for her.. She told me a very strange story; it was disjointed but disturbing..
"After having my babies I got so hungry I didn't know where I was or what was going on. So I left them alone.. Hungry I left to look for food. So I came to you to take care of my children. So that I could find some food. So that I could eat. Tell me Mikau.. Where are my babies? Mother.. Mother is hungry."
It was after this whole disjointed conversation that the game froze. I stopped playing after that. I immediately picked up the phone & called Queen after that & told her everything.
"What does all of that mean? What the heck is the game trying to tell me.." I asked Queen trying to sort through everything I had played & experienced.
"It sounds to me like.. In that game; what ever happened Lulu lost her mind after leaving her children in Mikau's care.. But he wasn't able to save them because as you see in the game he dies & I'm assuming that Lulu caught up to him.. And he had maybe tried to take her children some place safe.. But he caught up to them.. And ended up eating her babies leaving Mikau to die the whole time he was just trying to get her own children away from her; but she was too fast for Mikau & she ended up not only killing her own children by eating them but she also ended up killing Mikau accidentally by causing him to swim until he exhausted himself out & he ended up drowning. That's why those scenes keep replaying.. Because Link represents the dead babies that were floating along with Mikau. That's why Link ended up underneath him.. That's why you were warped to the Laboratory & why the scene played out with Lulu."
"But why? Why show me this horror story of a mother who goes mad enough to eat her own children; to only inadvertently kill her friend who she charged in order to protect them?" I asked her.
"I don't know. All I know is what you told me. I just put all the pieces together for you is all. Yusei.. Get rid of that game before you go mad trying to just get the the original ending. I'm sure the ending that copy of the game you'd get won't be the same that was originally intended." She told me worriedly.
"I have to see if your right.. Once I do that then I'll get rid of it." I told her blankly. But she said; "No Yusei, just don't do it. Take that game outside & toss it into the trash. Your sanity isn't worth it."
"I'll be fine I'll see you tomorrow." I told her half wondering what I was even saying. "Good night Queen." And I just hung up on her really fast trying to not hear her beg me to stop playing the game. But I felt compelled to; I wanted to know if what she was telling me was right.
So I went back into the living room from being in my kitchen to use the phone I had placed in there. Sitting down after grabbing the controller, and turning the console on.. I started up the save file that surprisingly was still saved from the last time it'd saved. Except this time when I started the game I saw Lulu's face smiling at me. "Where are my babies Mikau?" I saw her asking to the screen as suddenly. Hitting the start button the beginning of the song began to play as I saw Lulu's eyes turn to black holes. "WHERE ARE MY BABIES!"
"You ate them Lulu." Is all I could think of saying & I just spat it out suddenly. I saw Lulu pull back from looking at the screen. "No.. I couldn't have. No.. Because I left them with you Mikau."
It was after this beginning showed that the game froze again: on her sad face.. She was looking down & I just couldn't take my eyes off of her. It took a few knocks at the door before I took my eyes off of the screen to look away. Getting up I checked the front door to find Queen there. She had her jacket on & was shivering. Opening up the door I let her in & hugged her. "You saved me from what ever that thing is. It has some sort of hold on me."
"Yusei.." She said looking to me after we parted; "You have to get rid of that game.. I came over because I'm worried about you."
"Queen I can't do it. I have to see if what you figured is true or not." I told her as she walks over to see where I set up the N64 & the game. Walking over to the N64 she picks the game up out of the console to say; "No, I won't let you do this to yourself. Your my friend & I love you too much to see you get hurt.. I'm taking this cursed game & getting rid of it." Getting into her pocket she gives me a five dollar bill to say; "Here. This is how much you payed for it.. It's worth it to just get this thing away from you. Because the ending either way just isn't worth it."
"Queen.." I said breathlessly; surprised by her honest concern for me. "I didn't know you cared so much about me."
"Yusei! Of course I do. You've been my friend for over five years.. I don't want anything bad to happen to you; or for you to get hurt. So of course I care about you." She told me. It took her serious tone to make me come back to reality. "Alright; you win." I told her to hug her again. "Go ahead & do what ever you need to with that game cartridge."
She nods to tell me that she would & left after hugging me heading home. Calling twenty minutes later after she left from my home to check on her: she didn't answer the phone.. I just figured that maybe she'd gone to the bathroom after she got home so I waited until Jing got home to call her. But when he answered he sounded frantic. Apparently Queen had gone missing. It was then that I knew that she had been right; some thing was wrong with the game because when she came to check on me & took the game with her.. She'd vanished after wards.
"Jing it's the neon green legend of Zelda Majora's mask game I bought. She hid it some where if you find where she hid it I'm sure that Queen will come back." I told him & Jing asked me to come over & help look. Of course I agreed and went over to look for where she could have hid the game.. But neither of us found it & Queen.. Never came back..
In the end I blamed myself for the turn of events that befell my best friend. Our families worked together to look for her but still she wasn't found. Until I remembered what she told me about Lulu eating her babies & accidentally drowning Mikau. So on a hunch alone a good week later I went to the nearest lake & started to look for her. It was when I saw some one laying on the shore that I ran over & found her. I shook her but no response. I called for an ambulance & they arrived saving her life. A week later when she woke up I asked her what happened & she told me that she just felt that some one was calling out to her so she followed the sound. After that she told me that she couldn't remember anything. I asked her what happened to the neon Majora's Mask cartridge that she was going to hide from me & she told me that she didn't remember.
I told her it was ok & not to worry about it I was just glad that I had found her & she was alive. She smiled and gave me a hug; but on my way out from her home.. On a roll away cart they used to place their mail on I saw it.. The neon Majora's Mask game cartridge. Enraged by what it had done to my friend I picked it up & tossed it into the trash can on my way out..
Eventually every thing started to get back to normal & one day as I was watching the local news some one who lived not that far from where Queen did had been found drowned holding onto the copy of the neon green Majora's mask cartridge. That night I lay awake & wondered if perhaps my tossing that game out in the game had been the best thing to do.. For me & those I loved it was the best choice.. For any one else who kept the game; they ended up drowned.. The same as Mikau had been found who had swum away from Lulu trying to save her children from her madness.

The Legend of Zelda: Insect Insanity
It is dusk as Link is walking across the fields of Hyrule. A slow enjoyable walk while he explores the wonderful scenery. He eventually comes across a gloomy unnamed forest. Complete silence and eeriness fills the air, mushrooms are a common sight and quite pretty. Link comes across a fine stump and sits on it, sets his lantern down and opens a bottle of pumpkin soup he bought from a shop made famous for it, he is pleased with the superb quality. He decides to save half of the bottle for later despite it getting cold. Link then spots a small patch of grass with a faint sparkle. He happily cuts it with his sword so he can claim the rupee. However, Link hears an unusual laugh that is creepy yet cheery at the same time, Link looks with disbelief as the rupee lying on the ground slowly fades away. He quickly looks around in all directions looking for the source of this maniacal laughter, nothing is clear. Link unsheathes his sword once again and picks his lantern up to prepare for any dangers that are lurking nearby. He slowly yet with caution examines anything that could be a potential hiding spot. Before he can react, a ghostly spirit swiftly rushes between trees. Slightly startled, Link hurries to check those trees. After a minute of looking around, a dozen Poes appear around that lone stump, they laugh but Link realizes it doesn't match the laughter he heard earlier. "Get.. the.. hero.." they whisper in an aggressive tone. Link reacted quickly as two of the Poes quickly dashed towards him, he performed a somersault slightly above them and swiftly thrusts his sword downward onto one of the Poes, making it disappear in a puff of smoke and drop the lantern it was holding. The danger went up a level as dozens of Stalfos approach, they must have heard Link's loud grunts.
Vastly outnumbered but still fearless, Link was ready to take these foes out. The situation changed as Link heard a scream coming from a single direction. Filled with heroism, Link pulled out his hookshot and latched on a tree. Link kept going from tree to tree and eventually lost his pursuing enemies. Hastily making his way to the source of the sound. Upon arriving at the source, there appears to be nothing, just pure silence as Link looks around the area. A voice calls out sounding like a little girl, "Come here, you sweet li'l grasshopper!". Startled by this,Link jump attacks, he hits a nearby tree. After some more staring, Link spots a shadowy figure running outside the forest, Link quickly gives chase. However, Link is suddenly knocked unconscious with little warning.
Several hours passed, then Link finally woke up in a strange guest room. The two beds on both sides of the fairly small room are well made, the small yet gorgeous bug shaped tea-table rests in the middle of the room, it has a frilly bug shaped set neatly placed on top. The whole room screams colorful with bug decorations at every turn in an almost unsettling way. The chairs are equally frilly, Most of his items were placed gently on another table. Link gets up from the bed and attempts to open the door. Of course it is locked, no key can be found and not even in the most clever places. Suddenly, loud footsteps are heard approaching the door. The dreaded sounds of each step feel so slowly paced, like it will never end. Finally the sounds of a key being inserted into a lock are heard and the door slowly creaks open with Link's full attention on it. Only to be shocked to see a little girl walk through the door, carrying a rather large basket and holding a parasol. Wearing a large elegant dress embellished with all sorts of embroidery and bug decorations. Her hair was blonde and done in pigtails. She closes the door gently, it's clear she entered by herself. Link sits there with a confused expression, not much time passes before the girl speaks.
"Why hello there li'l grasshopper!". That voice and the word "grasshopper" struck Link hard like a tackle from an Aerofols as he recognizes that tone and voice. "Do not be alarmed, I wouldn't ever dare harm you!" as the girl said cheerfully. "Oh pardon me, I forgot to properly introduce myself." she said, "Agitha is my name. Princess of the Bug Kingdom!" is said in a formal tone, Link is not very comforted by what she said however. Agitha carefully pulls out two small trays with food on them and tea ingredients. "Oh I'm ever so delighted to have you over as a guest!" exclaimed Agitha, Link grunts in confusion. Agitha then said "I invited over other guests to join us, shiny golden bug guests! But it looks like they decided not to show... so please! Have a seat!". Agitha quickly takes a seat and prepares the tea while Link hesitates before sitting down in a chair across from her. Agitha insisted that they should have a little chat over tea, which turned out alright for the most part, Link wasn't 100% compliant with this whole insane situation, 32 minutes pass and the time spent is over. "Well, it's been fun, but I have something to do. Later Grasshopper!" she says as she gets prepared to leave, but as she exits the door she says "I'm so sorry that it had to start like this, Grasshopper." before closing and locking the door.
Link was left alone in the room once again but some of her butterflies entered the room when she left. With feelings of horror and confusion, thoughts of escape entered Link's mind. Windows wouldn't budge, only thing she confiscated was his bombs so there will be no blowing anything up. Upon getting ready to strike the walls with his sword to get Agitha's attention back upstairs, he noticed her bug shaped pendant on the ground, she must have dropped it, Link was filled with desire to return it to her. He continued his plan to make enough noise with his sword, fierce grunts included. The sound of someone rushing up the stairs soon followed. Once the door opened, Agitha said "Please don't make noise like that, it's disturbing my bug friends downstairs." Link managed to convince her to bring him downstairs so they could talk. The two headed downstairs into the main room and Link was shocked to find a large tree in the center of the room with several insects on it, the whole room is decorated with bug decorations everywhere like the rest of her castle. "Don't you just love the atmosphere?" asked Agitha. Link ignores her question and presents the pendant to her. "Oh, that's my pendant! I must have misplaced it in the guest room. Thank you ever so much Grasshopper." Agitha was very pleased to have it returned. Suddenly she turned a little sad and said. "I.. I apologize for doing that to you. My bug friends told me that you were a huge fan of them and once I saw your clothes in that dangerous forest.. I assumed that was true. I really wanted you as a friend when I saw you in town before. So Grasshopper, no, Link I hope that you can forgive me." Agitha looked very sincere, Link was pretty touched that she realized the mistake she made. Link smiled, and gave her the bottle with the Pumpkin Soup he saved as a gesture of forgiveness. "Thank you Link, you can leave whenever you want. "They both smiled at each other and parted ways and left something that neither of them won't soon forget.

Congratulations everyone! Nice something about Majora's Mask, I have to read that. I'll read yours and Bowser's story as I've been looking forward to them.
