1 Year Anniversary!

Today (and yesterday in Japan) is the one year anniversary of Splatoon's release in NA and Europe! I just thought I'd make a quick little post to celebrate.

I can't believe the game has been around for so long, mainly because I continue to play it fairly often. While I don't play it daily anymore, when I'm not busy it's definitely still my go to game any time I want something to play. The fact that the game has reached over 4 million (nearly 5 million at this point!) sales within a year is amazing, especially for a Wii U game. I'm really excited to see where the series goes next!

It's hard to believe that the game has been out for a year now and that the game is still getting updates. I also thought this video was pretty good.

^ Nice! It's a pretty cool animation to celebrate, although if it were more of a professional thing I'd have wanted more details. Still for a fan to just create that probably in a short time it's really great I like it.
