I also just realized this game is 2D, so why are they making a 3D version of it? There's no point. >_>

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
It did have some really good 3D potential, like the parts where the cannon would shoot you into the backdrop of the level... and the trees in the foreground.
Besides, who said the 3DS was just for 3D graphics, I think a portable version of the game is cool enough!

Yeah, it's a great game, regardless.
I might buy this game if the amount of money I have goes up.

While thinking about this game I thought of something.
The blasted shaking the remote for doing... whatever mode you did for shaking the remote will be gone!

Lol.
But the inly cool thing about the 3D is the barrel launching DK right in your face.

If you need to shake the 3DS I'd rage so hard.
It's so horrible to even be considered.

It might be though. I guess we'll just have to see what it is later, maybe it'll use the L and R buttons or something.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Well, that's what many people said about the Wii version, it could of been like a choice, Shake or a Button.
If Retro have been listening they know what to not mess with and what to keep the same, and the more I think of it that way the more I see why maybe they want to make it in 3D (assuming it's more of a updated version, rather than just a port).

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Well it isn't exactly a port, but it's still mostly the same game. At least that's what I think it's supposed to be.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Well, half of the levels are new. I just hope there aren't so many frickin' minecart levels...

But I like the minecart levels! As long as there aren't too many still though.
