New content will indeed be included in the game, which includes an easy mode and local 3DS multiplayer. I still hope there's new levels as well...

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Yeah, other playable Kongs would be a nice addition to the game, but I think it's still 2-player. And I too qas hoping for a totally new game, there are a few new things, but it's almost the same game.

New screens.
I will likely pass on this game because I have it on the Wii.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
^ Same here.
I definitely recognize those levels, which is strange considering I don't remember most of the levels in DKCR. (which makes me want to replay it now that I think about it...) but this game looks like it'll be the same game.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
New gameplay from Nintendo Direct.
The new levels look nice. However I would rather save my money for other games this year.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
You will need a larger SD card, if you plan on downloading this game on the eShop.
You will need 17,693 open blocks.

It looks like retail is the best for this game.
Also a discussion video by GameXplain.
I would rather see the next Donkey Kong game on the Wii U unlike GameXplain.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
^ Yep, they definitely need some more good Wii U games...hopefully there will be more soon.
Also, that's a HUGE size for the game, not that I'm gonna buy it anyway, but I would never use up that much space on an SD card just for this. Getting a retail copy on a game card is way better.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
A Donkey Kong Country Returns 2 on the Wii U would look great on the Wii U. Were you can play as Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong.
Also I hope Nintendo has alot of retail copies of Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. Because there were only a few copies of Fire Emblem Awakening and Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon for a few weeks.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
To be perfectly honest, I don't think it will sell very well anyway. There will probably be plenty of copies at game stores and...other stores.
And I would love a sequel to this for Wii U, perhaps they are working on a DK64 sequel for Wii U (well, Retro, not Monster Games) and that is the big game they are working on.

Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
^Uhhh.... This is a remake of Country Returns for the Wii.
It really doesn't have many similarities with the SNES game.
