Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

Yeah, that's basically what I was thinking. It would be a really cool final smash attack.

Also, I never thought about it before, but wouldn't they have to change the title of the 3DS version to "Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/2DS"? I really think they should've named the games something othee than just the name of the console.

It's a pretty lame name compared to previous installments.

It's basically "Super Smash Bros. 4". Could'a been "Coliseum"(or Colosseum. whichever you prefer).

I'm pretty sure it was to avoid confusion between the 2 games, but in my opinion it's even more confusing that way...I like the name Colosseum, and the rumor before it was revealed called it "Calamity". I like both.

I guess the name could still be changed, but I doubt it.

I don't know if anyone's seen this screenshot yet...



So is Xerneas in the game or what? I'm doubting it's playable, they would've officially revealed it as a character befoe posting that screenshot.

I'm pretty sure it's just a pokeball, after all they've always had legendaries in them.

It's part of a stage or a pokeball like Cubone said. I still think Mewtwo will be back as character even though Sakurai said he has nothing to show about X and Y.  
I guess he could also throw people off and show a Mii on Friday for the Wii Party U release date or wait until the 29th and show Pac-Man. Still he likes throwing people off so who knows when the next character will be shown?

Anyway Newegg has listed the release date as 5-16-14.

It's unlikely that the game comes out in May since it will likely be Nintendo's big game in 2014 so it will likely come out in October or November.

Way too early to say WHEN it'll come out. Best left at "Coming Sometime 2014".

A Mii as an extra spot would be fine(see MKWii/MK7). I wouldn't want it taking up a spot for someone more worthy of it...

I'm assuming Miis will be playable, but what moveset would they have? I guess they could have sports equipment as attacks, like using a baseball bat to hit another player...

Oh and I also agree with Gameguy on the October/November release date. And who knows, it could be delayed to 2015, similar to Brawl. Especially considering they're working on 2 games at once.

Male WFT isn't taking up a roster spot.

He's an alt. costume for female WFT.

This has now given people hopes that Dr. Mario may be an alt. for Mario, a female alt. for Villager, and so forth.

Y'know. Sorta similar how Wario had his Ware and original.

I would be happy if Luigi got a Mr L alt costume to be fair.

Well that's what happens when I don't read the whole article I got that news from. It's good that he's just an alt, he's not taking up a spot that could be used for a better character. I'm also hoping for female Animal Crossing Villager to be an alt in that case...

I'm glad Male Wii Fit Trainer is just an alt for Wii Fit Trainer. I think we might see female Villager for Villager and a female Pokemon Trainer if he's still in the game.

I think GamesRader is asking for a bit much though.



I don't think most of what they said will happen. They also said Marth will be cut in a past episode for masked Marth.  

Uh, the only way I can see that happening is if the mask comes with one of Marth's alternate costumes, but I still doubt it. I'm not going to watch that video, sounds like everything they say makes no sense.
