Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

I wonder if they'd make Dr. Mario an alternate costume, because that's really all they ever needed to do with him.

Ikr. I hope they add the alternate costumes for each character, rather than a couple having them, while everyone else just gets palette swaps. So Dr. Mario would make sense for Mario, I could think of plenty of others as well. (Young Link or Deku Link, Dark Samus, Masked Dedede, Chrom for Marth, etc.)

I think Masked Marth would be a better alt for Marth since Chrom will likely be his own character and Dark Samus is an AT.

I thought of one for every character that does not have an alt yet.

Rosalina: Cosmic Spirit or Biker outfit

That's a really good list Gameguy. Although I'd replace Olimar with Alph or Louie, since Olimar looks barely any different now than he did in his original appearance.

It seems like Sakurai is hinting at the return of the event matches.

Yeah, I also think he's hinting about event matches returning. I wouldn't be surprised though, they were in both Melee and Brawl, and I believe the N64 one too. (haven't played that in a long time so I don't really remember)

I didn't notice it actually. But it's cool that it changes colors, it looks pretty much the same as it did in Brawl though.

I like how they made that change. Also this is the first time we have ever seen Red Greninja. Fire Mario not counting the artwork, Gray Bowser and Blue Kirby.   

What? How is that a tedious task? If anything, I'd think it would be easier to just mirror the characters rather than have to change each model's movements completely depending on the direction they're facing. Regardless it does look better.

I'm glad the palette swaps are back. (although I guess that one screenshot with the Villagers already confirmed it) I just hope each one has their own full new costume like Little Mac, Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager.

I like how you can use any color in team battles now. However I think some people will have trouble seeing the outlines.

But they'd have to add outlines to the Wii U version too in that case. Unless they just do it the old way that they did it in the other versions just for the Wii U version, but that would be strange.

We thought that Wario or Meta Knight would be shown this month. I guess we were wrong since Ike is back.
