Here's what Sakurai said about that King Dedede pic.

Sakurai wrote:Pic of the day. King Dedede uses one of the strongest side smash attacks in all of Smash Bros. Use this attack wisely in battles.

It looks like KingDedede did get a power boost like I said so, he's likely still slow.

Here's today's pic of the day.

Sakurai wrote:Pic of the day. Rosalina and Luma's attacks are very different. This screencap shows Rosalina producing a Saturnian ring for her strong up attack.

Rosalina may be easy to knock out but, it seems like she still has a bit of power without the Luma.

Well, he did have one of the strongest side attacks in Brawl, so that doesn't necessarily mean he got a power boost in for Wii U and for Nintendo 3DS.

I guess the ring above Rosalina is just to dodge attacks from above?

Warning Challenger Approaching! Not really though.

That's right Ashley from WarioWare will be an Assist Trophy.

I know some people wanted her as a playable character but, I think Wario is the only playable character we need for WarioWare.

Speaking of Wario we should see him back in action soon. He just had to fix up his bike.

Hey Gameguy, why did you change the picture in your last post too?...

Anyway, Ashley would've been an awesome playable character, just because she does have enough personality to have a full moveset really. I guess it's cool that she's an assist trophy regardless, though. I wonder what she does.

I posted the Rosalina & image from the website so that's why it changed and I don't think Ashley is  playable since Rosalina and Zelda cover magic.

Here's toady pic of the day.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - Page 25 Chm

Nothing much but, it seems like King Dedede got a bit bigger.

Also here a new link that's likely fake but it could be true.

Rosalina is the only Mario newcomer. I find this one to be true since there were no new Mario characters in Brawl.
Waluigi and Toad were at once considered, but Waluigi remains an Assist Trophy, and Toad a move for Peach. I think the Waluigi Assist Trophy part is  true.
Bowser Junior, Paper Mario and Daisy were never considered. Bowser Junior was planned to be an Assist Trophy, but was scrapped. I could see Bowser Jr as an Assist Trophy.
Fawful is a new Mario Assist Trophy. He acts like Mr. Resetti, but will attack opponents at random. I see this one being false since Fawful was not ever in the new Mario & Luigi.
Diddy Kong will be the next revealed veteran, to coincide with Tropical Freeze’s release date. Most people should know this since it happened with a few characters before.
Diddy is paired with Dixie Kong as a tag-team, similar to Zelda and Sheik. Dixie has a separate moveset from Diddy, but it’s still being worked on. I think Dixie will have her own slot.
King K. Rool is a newcomer, the heaviest character on the roster. He is powerful and can KO light characters with 2 good Smash Attacks. His final smash has him use the blunderbuss and fire cannonballs from the top of the screen while they fly in from the sides as well. King K Rool. could happen but, I just don't see it since he's not ever in the DKC games lately.
Gangplank Galleon is a stage. It could happen but, A DKCR stage sounds more likely.
There is a new Zelda character, although it’s kept a secret so far. The names heard most often are Tingle and Ghirahim. This sounds false since the leaker could share the other characters but, not the 5th Zelda character.
Ganondorf will be buffed, although he still retains some of C. Falcon’s moves. He can equip a sword using his Down Special. Maybe, but the sword would have been used in Brawl if there were going to change up his moves.
Chrom is a Fire Emblem necomer. He wields the Falchion, and does not replace Ike.
Chrom is expected to be revealed to celebrate the anniversary of the first Fire Emblem. I could see Chrom being show on the anniversary of Fire Emblem but, I think Ike might be cut.
Lyn’s Assist Trophy from Brawl has been scrapped. I think this one might be true.
King Gangrel and Aversa are the new Fire Emblem Assist Trophy. Gangrel runs around slicing with his sword, while Aversa flies above using Aversa’s Night. They are the “unexpected” Assist Trophy. I don't see this one happening.
No newcomers for Yoshi or Wario. I will say that this one is true.
Wario’s overalls are now his default attire. It could be true but, I think the WarioWare will still be his default attrie.
The Kat & Ana Assist Trophy has been scrapped. I hope not and why can't there be a second WarioWare Assist Trophy.
Ashley from WarioWare is a new Assist Trophy. True.
Ridley is a newcomer, and is scaled down a bit. It was a major feat on the development team. I think Ridley will just be a boss.
No new Star Fox characters. I say this one is true.
Falco is farther away from being a Fox clone. I hope this is true.
Wolf is no longer a semi-clone. I hope this is also true.
Villager has a female costume. I think this is likely since Wii Fit Trainer has a male costume.
Mr. Resetti returns as an Assist Trophy. I could see Cranky taken his role.
Tom Nook is a new Assist Trophy. He apparently drops bells across the stage, which causes opponents to trip. (Due to Sakurai saying tripping is removed, it’s unknown if forced tripping, like this and Diddy’s bananas will return, or if only accidental tripping is removed.) I think Nook might throw something different.
Palutena is a newcomer, with her moves based directly off Uprising. I could see this since she does fight in Uprising.
Magnus is a new Assist Trophy, and acts similarly to Little Mac in Brawl. I guess he could be an Assist Trophy.
All Pokemon veterans from Brawl return. I see this happening.
Mewtwo returns. Likely true since he was planed for Brawl and he was in the latest Pokemon movie.
Mewtwo and Lucario have very different movesets. Maybe it's true if Lucario got some steel type moves.
No new Kirby characters. Likely true.
Meta Knight will be revealed sometime in the summer of 2014. I guess this could happen.
No changes made to the EarthBound series. I find this one to be true.
All misc. characters return (Mr. Game & Watch, R.O.B., Ice Climbers) I could R.O.B being cut but, he could return.
Little Mac is a newcomer. He has the look from the Punch-Out!! reboot for the Wii. Likely true.
The Male Wii Fit Trainer is indeed an alt. for Wii Fit Trainer. True.
Wii Fit Trainer has a butt attack. It is replaced by a headbutt for the male costume. I can't see the attacks being changed.
King Hippo is an Assist Trophy. He would be a good replacement for Little Mac.
The Ghosts from Luigi’s Mansion are an Assist Trophy. I don't see this happening since Luigi is not based on his Luigi's Mansion character.
Snake returns. Maybe but, if he returns his old games should be added to the eShop.
Pac-Man will be the final newcomer. He is a secret character. I find it more likely that he gets shown at E3 or during a Nintendo Direct.

    Source
Some of the things look real but others are likely fake. Since there's new new retro character or Mii in this leak.

It's just too bad nobody ever provides where they were actually able to uncover the information they pass off as "leaked." Anyway, Gameguy already posted pretty much all of my thoughts on the info other than a few of the bullets which I thought something different:

King Gangrel and Aversa are the new Fire Emblem Assist Trophy. Gangrel runs around slicing with his sword, while Aversa flies above using Aversa’s Night. They are the “unexpected” Assist Trophy - I don't know, I honestly had that as an idea for an assist trophy before, so it could certainly happen. I don't think it's unlikely.

Ridley is a newcomer, and is scaled down a bit. It was a major feat on the development team. - I think that Ridley could be in just because there aren't many Metroid characters. (Just Samus)

Wii Fit Trainer has a butt attack. It is replaced by a headbutt for the male costume - You said you can't see the attacks being changed, but this isn't the attack itself, just the graphic for when he attacks. Unless that's what you meant anyway?

Anyway, the pic of the day isn't interesting at all. :/ Hopefully that means Nintendo Direct tomorrow with a new trailer! Probably not going to happen, but still, it's possible. Razz

Nothing that great and there's no Direct tomorrow unless one gets uploaded to the Nintendo of America youtube page with Bill talking for about 20 minutes like in the July one. So next week or February will be the next global one. Though it seems like Sakurai is going to show a new stage or returning character next week.

Yeah nothing good for today's screenshot, I was really hoping for a Nintendo Direct with a new trailer today. :/ Oh well, there's always next week. Hopefully we'll get a brand new character though, there hasn't been one since Rosalina in the middle of December.

It seems like this stage is based off of the new Adventure mode. It kind of looks like a Zelda stage or Solomon Woods from Mario & Luigi Dream team.

Yeah, it could be Lost Woods, but it doesn't really look like it. More likely the other one. Also, we know for sure now that there is no story mode anymore. I just hope that there's still an adventure mode or I'll be disappointed.

I wonder, is that an adventure mods, a moving stage, or maybe a backdrop to some form of stage builder. It honestly reminds me of Rayman style art more than anything, either that or some of those black sky tree areas in New Super Mario Bros.

Y'know, I just remembered when Sakurai said the Nintendo 3DS version will have it's own special mode that would act separately from the normal versus play mode. So that could be it. But if that's only in the 3DS version, is there not going to be a single player mode in the Wii U one? Or is that mode not even single player? It's not very clear.

Maybe the 3DS version will have a new single player mode and the Wii U version will have an Adventure mode like Melee.

Here's toady's pic of the day.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - Page 25 Dtam

Also Sakurai posted an extra toady

Sakurai wrote:"Today is the 15th Anniversary of the launch of the first Super Smash Bros. There may be some players out there who played it on the Nintendo 64 as kids that have grown into adults"

The Luma shot is cool and it seems like Rosalina is about to use the Star Spin. I also like how Sakurai brought up the 15th Anniversary.

So nothing special for the anniversary?...

Well, perhaps there will be a Nintendo Direct or something tomorrow with a new trailer, I was just kind of hoping for something today though. Anyway, the Luma Shot is cool, so I guess you can just control her with Luma doing different attacks alongside her, or choose to remotely control him from somewhere else.
