That sucks that you need New Super Luigi U saved on your Wii U to play Lugi Bros right away and it looks like stamps give away the 5th character.

For anyone who saw the stamps...

Damn, you seriously have to have Super Luigi U saved on your Wii U in order to unlock her? Worst move ever...I was really looking forawrd to playing as her.

lol That's a smart marketing ploy. Get people to buy Super Luigi U so you can play as an extra character.

Considering the popularity of said chara... I can't help but laugh.

I'm set since I have a save of Super Luigi U on my Wii U. So I'm good when this game comes out. XD I really like her character & getting to unlock her so easily is great for me. :3 Unless I need a Mario Bro's U save then I'm DOOMED. D: >.<

Is she unlocked through NSLU save data or in-game with SM3DW?

^That I'm not too sure of. The way Zero posted it; is that she's unlocked by having a NSLU save file on your console. Though it's most likely that it'll have to be the later. So atmo; I'm not too sure HOW she's unlocked at this conjuncture. ^^; (I have no idea how she's unlocked; I'm a bit confused atmo. XD)

Luigi Bros. is unlocked when you beat the game, if you have New Super Luigi U save data, it unlocks automatically.
Apparently she is unlocked at the end of the game, New Super Luigi u only affects Luigi Bros.

Yeah, apparently that is how it works. The way Gameguy posted it made it sound as thiugh you needed Super Luigi U, but apparently that isn't the case at all. So sorry for all the confusion.

I'm still glad she's playable though, best character ever! :3

The Iwata asks kind of makes it unclear but I think the character is unlooked after World 8 or in the extra worlds like Luigi in 3D Land.

The eShop also lists up to 5 players even though I think one player just tabs the gamepad and the other four play on Wii Remotes or the Wii U Pro Controller.

Really weird that they made the characters move around on all fours before they were even cats. That must've been really weird lol. Also, it's interesting that the Mario clones were a mistake at first.
