The first DLC pack is now out outside of Japan along with the free characters. Has anyone bought the DLC or played as the characters? I only had time to update the game since I had things to do so I have not any played as the new characters or through the areas the DLC added yet.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
I have updated but I haven't tried the three characters yet. I'll end up purchasing the DLC eventually.
I really love Legend mode, but that's the only mode I've been playing currently. I did try a little bit of Challenge mode but I did not get too far. I probably have to create more badges to stand a chance.
I'd love to see the Happy Mask Salesman as one of those Majora's Mask characters. He could be an interesting warrior.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
I've updated it and played as Cia and Wizzro, both are pretty cool characters, but they start at Level 1, whereas most of my other warriors are levels 20-35. >_> I haven't purchased the DLC. However, the Hero of Hyrule DLC bundle is still available! So it isn't just a season pass, it's a bundle like the MK8 DLC. I'm definitely going to get the Hero of Hyrule DLC pack eventually, hopefully soon.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
Oh hey have you guys seen this video of Link with Lana's summoning gate? Apparently it's a glitch of some sort in the game:

Re: Hyrule Warriors
^ Well, I would look at the glitch, but I haven't unlocked the Summoning Gate for Lana yet, so I don't really want to spoil it for myself. (it's always fun to see what the new weapons do) But I haven't actually encountered any glitches in the game yet in my 30+ hours of play time, so I'm assuming they're not that common.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
It's kind of like the glitch you can pull off in the free play mode where a character is in some other characters body and before that there was a glitch where any character could use any weapon so I guess the summoning gate was not patched.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
So has anyone purchased the DLC for Hyrule Warriors?
I haven't yet, but I'm planning to get the Hero of Hyrule Pack when I have the $20 on the eShop. That way I can get all of the DLC for a cheap price. The individual packs seem way too expensive for me. The DLC sounds great though, MULTIPLE new Adventure Mode maps is insane, but the characters are cool, and new scenarios, and especially new modes! I can't wait.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
Hyrule Warriors will have Amiibo support! I called it!
I knew this would happen! I do wonder what they will do in the game though. Should be interesting. Now I want the Link Amiibo more than the others.
#amiibo figure Link will be compatible with #HyruleWarriors. Stay tuned for more info.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
Guess nobody cares about Amiibo support, I was pretty excited about that...
What level are your warriors in Hyrule Warriors? Here's mine (from memory so I might be a bit off):
Link - Lv. 38
Impa - Lv. 27
Sheik - Lv. 28
Lana - Lv. 31
Midna - Lv. 29
Darunia - Lv. 27
Fi - Lv. 29
Zelda - Lv. 30
Agitha - Lv. 29
Ruto - Lv. 26
Ghirihim - Lv. 24
Ganondorf - Lv. 33
Cia - Lv. 12
Volga - Lv. 12
Wizzro - Lv. 8
I try to get my warriors on about equal levels, although it's kind of hard to do that sometimes.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
It looks like we have some info about DLC pack 2.
I guess Twili Midna is a good pick since people wanted Midna's true form and Link's new outfit is likely Ravio.
Aonuma wrote:Greetings to everyone in our The Legend of Zelda community! I'm Eiji Aonuma, the supervisor for Hyrule Warriors, and I'm happy to talk to you all again. The second DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors, the Twilight Princess Pack, will be released soon, so today I would like to give you a sneak peek at what's inside. The highlight of the first DLC pack, the Master Quest Pack, was being able to team Link up with Epona. This time around, there will be a new playable character - someone from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess... Who do you think it is? Here's a hint: this character only appeared in this form at the very end of Twilight Princess. In that game, Midna is cursed and cast out from the Twilight Realm, but now you will be able to unleash her true form as Twili Midna! When I was developing Twilight Princess, I thought it was such a waste to let a beautiful princess like her only appear in the ending. Now Koei Tecmo Games has made my wish to see more of her come true. Twili Midna's weapon is the Mirror of Twilight, which appeared in Twilight Princess. This mirror was destroyed at the end of that game, but it's pretty amazing in Hyrule Warriors. In fact, I can't describe in words what's so amazing about it, so I hope you'll download this DLC pack and see for yourself. In addition to Twili Midna, the Twilight Princess Pack includes new weapons, costumes and an adventure map, so if you played through the original game, they should contribute to the fun you'll have in Hyrule Warriors. (For one of the costumes, you can dress Link up as a certain familiar character from the Zelda series. It may make you say ""Wow!"" so I hope you'll look forward to it.) The second DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors, the Twilight Princess Pack, will be released globally on November 27!
I guess Twili Midna is a good pick since people wanted Midna's true form and Link's new outfit is likely Ravio.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I never did beat Twilight Princess, so I had no idea of Midna's true form. But it's just kind of a let down that the brand new character is a different form of another character.

I agree that it's a little disappointing that they picked Midna's true form. I was hoping for Jovani or Chudley but I guess she's a cool pick and fans did want her.
My guess it that Agitha, Zant and maybe Midna will get more than a couple of costumes since it's the Twilight Princess pack. I think that would be nice since the Twilight Princess characters are some of my favorites to use. Looking forward to what else is in this pack.

Re: Hyrule Warriors
^ That would be cool, although I honestly still have no idea how to change costumes in this game. I only have the Ganondorf costumes from the launch Club Nintendo deal, but I have no idea where to go to switch to them. (not that I'd want to, I love the way Ganondorf looks in the game)

Re: Hyrule Warriors
Hyrule Warriors update 1.4.0 is available now!
- The level cap has been raised
- The max amount of materials has been raised
- There are new potions
- Brand new medals as well
- Amiibo support is also included with the update
I think this is a good update, but I am surprised they didn't add it a few days ago. The first Amiibo also released today, so I think the update should've come yesterday or the day before.
