Well we all kind of knew that already, so not a surprise. The question is, is there a Direct coming soon through which the game will be revealed? Or just through normal PR?

Re: Nintendo - DeNA Partnership
This is really going to test Nintendo's innovation skills if they're goinginto the modern market of phones. If they want to please the phone market, they want an addictive, simple game, but it won't live up to the standards Nintendo consoles/hanheleds have set. While I'm not keen on mobile games, I'm have some faith Nintendo will be able to please this generation and classic fans.
I'm not sure if they won't use big IPs, if they want "5 hit games", I think they'll try something everyone will recognize.

^ Normally I'd feel the same way, but I don't know, all this talk about the mobile game being something surprising and the fact that Nintendo wants to do something on mobile that gives a completely different experience than their console titles makes me think it's just something entirely new. (at least their first one)

Nintendo will share more info on there mobile game plans tonight.
Nintendo also said Wednesday it will give an update on its smartphone game project with smartphone game and platform provider DeNA Co. when it meets investors to brief them on strategy Thursday. “We will provide updates on our project with DeNA tomorrow,” Nintendo’s new chief executive Tatsumi Kimishima said.

I think it's a Zelda game or a new WarioWare game based on reports.

Nice! Although I'm not a fan of mobile games I'm excited to see what's up with it and what the game might be. I'm going to guess it'll be something related to Animal Crossing, Nintendogs, or WarioWare. Lots of mobile potential for those IP.

Re: Nintendo - DeNA Partnership
^ Puzzle and Dragons was already on mobile to begin with, Nintendo only collaborated with them for the Super Mario Bros. Edition which is still 3DS exclusive. At least to my knowledge. XD Although they did say their mobile games wouldn't be ports of anything else too.

Re: Nintendo - DeNA Partnership
Maybe, but the Mario version could easily be brought over to mobile as well since it came from mobile already.

Re: Nintendo - DeNA Partnership
Very true, that may happen at some point, although I don't think it has anything to do with this since they said it wasn't a port already.

Re: Nintendo - DeNA Partnership
You realize Puzzle & Dragons is not Nintendo right Queen?
From what we've heard, my guess is WarioWare or Animal Crossing.

Re: Nintendo - DeNA Partnership
The mobile game has been delayed and the new rewards program will be Nintendo Account.
- Nintendo’s new membership service will be called “Nintendo Account” — it will connect hardware users, as well as PC and smart device users, Mr. Kimishima says.
'Launch date of Nintendo’s smartphone games has been delayed. Launch will be March 2016, not year-end. Nintendo eyes global launch, depending on the game.''

It sucks that the game is being pushed back and the rewards name could have been better.

Nintendo Account?
Somebody needs to be more intelligent with naming...
The first app sounds like a social network...
