Have you had a near-death experience?

Well what happened to me last night inspired me to make this thread. Have you ever had a near-death experience?

As I already posted about in the Anything Thread, I nearly had a pretty terrible car accident with driving with someone who somehow managed to get into the wrong lane where cars were coming straight at us, nearly crashing into them, which would've inevitably led to death if it had actually happened. (there's no way I wouldn't have at the very least been severely injured)

That's really the only instance of this ever happening to me I actually recall, although I'm sure there's been another time.

Ooh, that must've been close. Thank goodness.

I faintly remember at Niagara Falls, my dad was going to put me on the rails above the river below to take a picture. I screamed and tried to get off. 

But if that's not how I remember it, I might as well say I didn't .



Edit: Oh, how could I forget this one?!
Sometime in Spring Break, I was going out biking. I started off really fast, only that at the last second at the corner, there was a speeding car. It was too late, and if I braked I would stop in front if the car and so I just pedaled as fast as I could to cross. I hit a tree right in someone's front yard right after I made it before the car. Never went outside for the rest of the break.

Nope, I never have.

However, I have gotten pneumonia at a summer camp in 2012 and was in the wilderness for 4 days. Was then sick for 2 weeks after that. :/ Felt like I was gonna die at times.

Worst off the staff didn't think I was sick... :/
Plus most of the food there was stuff I hated, so I didn't eat as much.

I almost got run over crossing the street heading to where I parked my car a few month's ago. I was able to run out of the way but the person in the car would have killed me had I not seen them. Also no I didn't use a cross walk, my bad I suppose.

^ Well even if you're not on the crosswalk they should always be aware of potential pedestrians when in an area like that where they may cross.

I did when I rode on a water slide. I flipped over from being on a raft & thought I was going to drown, but Jing saved me & took me to the first aide area that was close to the ride. I had bad scrapes & bruises. I'm just glad I didn't come home in a body bag; that experience could have been much worse then it was.

I think the closest I had was when I knocked the family TV off its stand and it fell on top of me, when I was 2 or 3 years old. 

I didn't cry or anything, so my parents thought I actually had been killed at first :O !

I nearly drowned when I was younger but thanfully my Mum's friend saved me. Don't remember it though since I was like 4 or something.
