- Spoiler:
- Woah, Rosalina with a pony tail? O_o I'm still surprised she's even playable. In a multiplayer spin-off it would make more sense if she was a playable character, but it seems strange to me in a Mario platformer.

- Spoiler:
- That dress looks epic.
Don't get what the pony tail has anything to do with a Fire Flower though.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
- Spoiler:
- I think the reason the pony tail was added is because maybe the developers wanted to give Rosalina a different look from what she usually has in her normal dress is all. Just look at Peach, her hair is up in a pony tail when she's in a fire dress too.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
- Spoiler:
- But Peach has a ponytail in many different Mario games, excluding the main platformers. So it seems...normal. Whereas with Rosalina, she's never had one, so it's strange.

- I think the ponytail suits Rosalina better. Though, it does make her seem more...adolescent.

What is everyone SPOILING EVERYTHING FOR? Oh, yes forgive me.
- Spoiler:
- I think it's to give the girls in the game the same "look" all across the board. More: uniform & so it makes sence to more persnickety Mario players|fans| who tend to pay theses little details more attention SIR'S/madame's.

- Yeah that actually would make a lot of sense. I do like how Rosalina looks in a ponytail, it just struck me as odd at first glance is all.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
^ Nice find.
Obviously I don't know for sure until I play it myself, but it seems that 3D World is absolutely amazing, critics are loving it. (it has a 93 on metacritic)
I really wish I could get this launch day, I want to play it. But I will have ALBW to hold me over. XD

Re: Super Mario 3D World
The reviews are in.
IGN: 9.6
GameXplain: 4 and half stars out of 5
Polygon: 9
Kotaku: 10 even though they said it's not a good Wii U game but then they give the game a 10:confused:
ONM: 93%
Joystiq: 5 stars out of 5
Eurogamer: 10
CVG: 10
EDGE: 9
GameSpot: 9
Destructoid: 10 they often times give low scores to Nintendo games
Nintendo Life: 10
Anime News Network: A
VentureBeat: 97
USGamer: 4 and a half stars out of 5
NWR: 10
Shacknews: 9
You can read them them here
As you can see all the scores or in the 90's. However the Bit Block is uploading his review some time tomorrow and he will likely say he would rather play New Super Mario Bros U and he likely did not get all of the green stars so he won't even talk about the extra worlds.
IGN said that Super Mario 3D World takes about 15 hours to beat the whole game so I would not worry about how long the game is.
Anyway here's a video showing the world map of seven of the worlds and a video showing how to get the 5th character.

- Spoiler:
I have no idea why you need to beat the stage with a cat suit and I still think Rosalina might show up after the final boss since it would be kind of strange if she was just added to the ending after you unlock her. They again maybe it's likely 3D Land and the character that you use only shows up in the ending.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
I hope you copy/pasted that, it would've taken forever to type it all out. And I have to read Kotaku's review...must've been a complete idiot who reviewed it if he said it wasn't a good Wii U game and gave it a perfect score lol.
I'm sure this will be a great game though either way, it just looks like a lot of fun.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
It's Mario. So, of course he gets an A on his test. Not that I have a problem with that. The game does look enjoyable.
Were I to play this and had enough time to spare, I could prolly beat it in one sitting...(like i did with LM:DM...)
I don't think my cousin will end up buying this... So who knows. Maybe I will when the time comes.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
I immediately stopped reading Kotaku's review after the first line, "Super Mario 3D World is a terrific video game. But it isn't a good Wii U game." Considering it's exclusive to Wii U, that makes no sense whatsoever.
@Unknown Entity
Well it apparently only takes about 15 hours to finish the main game, so you probably could.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
"Super Mario 3D World is currently the number one best seller on Amazon in the video game category in North America. The game has taken the top spot despite not having been released yet. The list is updated hourly. Super Mario 3D World comes out on November 22nd and has been met with wonderful reviews. Do you think Mario’s latest outing can catapult the Wii U back into being relevant?"
